Disappointing and overpriced - Edit
I would absolutely come here for a drink and to admire the views. Maybe a packet of crisps. Location is fantastic and there is lots of seating indoor and out.
Read moreFood options for vegans are terrible. 2 mains at present. The superfood salad is outdated and in my opinion the flavours and ingredients do not work. It seems very shoddily thrown together.
Haven’t tried the risotto - seems boring and is expensive.
I had the soup of the day which is marked as vegan. It was really lovely but £7.50 for the smallest bowl I’ve ever seen.
Also, the chips are not vegan. This is the worst crime in my book.
Pros: Location and views, Lovely soup
Cons: Minimal choice, Very expensive , Chips not vegan!!

Best vegan burger - Edit
Lovely pub. Sat outside by the river taking in the glorious views. My son and I had the vegan burger. Best burger I've had in a long time. Their tomato relish was something else. Quick service, good beer, lovely setting. Good portions. Not the cheapest (burger was £12.95) we've been to but the food made up for it. Loads of parking too.

Great meals by the Teign River - Edit
We were very happy to discover that they have a separate vegan menu which had some great options. One we tried was the Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Tart which really was good - the pastry held together well and the vegetables were just right. The restaurant has panoramic views of the Teign River - in fact it is right on the river and at high tide (it's within the tidal estuary) you can sail right to the restaurant and moor at their jetty.
Read moreThe only downside was the very slow service which we could not put down to lack of staff or being busy - they were just very slow. A shame, as the food and location are a stand out.
Pros: Separate vegan menu, Superb location
Cons: Slow service
