I’ve been wanting to visit Cookies & Scream for years and it was even better than I could have imagined! The most delightful, lovely staff, great atmosphere and SO MUCH CHOICE. I was actually a bit overwhelmed when choosing what to order as I’ve never seen shelves of baked goods that are all vegan & gluten-free before, aha. Best cookie I’ve eaten in my life (even pre-gf!) and will absolutely be back to support Cookies & Scream in the future. Couldn’t recommend any higher and any vegans/gf people who haven’t been yet are missing out!

We got a cookie sandwich with chocolate cream inside and the peanut butter pie with chocolate chips and vanilla ice-cream. Everything was fully vegan and definitely delicious. The decor and playlist is fun, a nice change. Staff was friendly and efficient. We will be back to try the rest!

Can imagine this is a nice option to have for gluten free vegans, but if you're not gluten free, there are so many better baked goods around. Baked goods seem a bit unprofessional. The chocolate topped cookie I got was so hard it was almost impossible to bite through. Love the theme vibes and loved their stall in Camden, but unfortunately this cafe does love up to what it used to be.

Cookies, cakes and ice cream in a vintage American diner style shop. Really good to have a place which is vegan *and* gluten free. Good value too. I’m not a huge fan of the ambience, and it’s a shame everything is presented on disposable plates. But the food is great.

I was passing by so I popped in for a treat. I got an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie sandwich with a sweet cream in the middle. I paid about £4. I was really impressed with the cookies - they tasted great, and I couldn’t tell they were gluten free. But the cream in the middle was a bit odd and didn’t hit the spot for me; it was like a thick pudding and not the whipped cream / buttercream I expected. I’ll have to go back and try the ice cream cookie sandwich - it looked great, as did the other ice cream options. Some of the other items available for purchase were fruit crumbles and cakes. I want to come back and try some other sweets. Prices are a bit high, but you’re paying for quality.

We came here in the afternoon so I imagine a lot of things had sold before we arrived. We chose the cookie dough milkshake and the peanut butter and chocolate pie. We chose to sit inside, and there were cute diner chairs and photos on the wall. The peanut butter pie was creamy and it wasn’t too sweet. Then the cookie dough shake was really thick, had a nice flavour and the cookie dough balls were just the best. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Les patisserie sont présentées sur des assiettes en carton. Trop de déchets pour pas grand chose... je veux bien l'esprit rocknroll mais là, non.
Puis, les desserts n'étaient pas mauvais mais BEAUCOUP trop sucrés.
Sinon, l'ambiance diner est cool mais je n'y reviendrais pas.

Sadly I think I got there too late so the options were pretty limited. The peanut butter and jelly cookie was great - very gooey. I also got a chocolate and jam slice and chocolate bar. Both were good but I probably wouldn’t majorly recommend. Friendly staff and I’d come back but earlier in the day!

Just a short walk from Highbury & Islington Station this place offers a good selection of vegan treats. I had a chocolate chip cookie and it was great! Very sweet, but I liked it, especially the texture. My bf went for the cookie sandwich and we both enjoyed it. It was just a bit too much, so we had to take the leftovers home with us. The guys offered us a box, so no problem at all. Would love to go back and have a drink as well. Staff was super friendly, card payment possible. They even have a restroom, which is great.

Let me just start by saying that I have been following them on Instagram for a long time before I tried their food, and I have been dreaming about their ice cream sandwich. Imagine my sadness when trying the said ice cream sandwich and it was not ice cream at all but some sort of cream that tasted way to sweet and the cookie was both undercooked and salty ?!. I know it sounds crazy but for real, when I bit into the uncooked part of the cookie it tasted really salty and disgusting, really.

Nice venue and staff, but I didn’t like the food. I ordered the Swiss roll and the taste seemed off. The cream tasted like sour soy and you could definitely taste that the roll was gluten free. Sadly, I’m not inclined to go back.
