Read moreI had the plátano burger, which was quite exotic (the bun is a plantain), my wife had the Majestoso burger, which was more like a traditional cheeseburger with bacon and some fancy toppings.
Prices are not cheap, but o.k. for the quality of the food and the location.
Quick service and very friendly staff.

La comida es lo mejor: carta extensa y con platos muy originales que seguramente no hayas probado nunca. Además, están todos exquisitos. El personal es amable y sirven rápido. El problema es el precio: la cantidad es realmente escasa y con unos precios que probablemente hayan tenido un mayor impacto en la inflación que los beneficios caídos del cielo de las eléctricas. Pero, si te ves dispuesto a pedir una hipoteca, puedes darle una oportunidad.

La comida está rica pero internet me dijo que este sitio era uno entre los 10 mejores restaurantes veganos de Madrid. No se, me esperaba otra cosa. Pero bueno, el personal muy majo. Lastima que 4 mini arepas, por ejemplo cuesten 8€!

I will most definately go again whenever I go back to Madrid. Food was delicious, amazingly flavourful, staff was super nice and the place is lovely. We went for Lunch today (saturday) and were lucky to get a table, as they were almost fully booked. I suggest to make a reservation in advance if you plan on going on the weekend. Notwithstanding that, the staff was really accomodating and made space for us.

We had the Cook-a-burger and the polpette della nonna. Both plates were delicious and had good size.
They also have juices and a huge variety of infusions (around 50 types), among other drinks.
Both prices and the description of their dishes (in spanish from what I saw) are available in their website if you Want to take a look before going.

Cookaluzka is an easy 20 minute walk from the Atocha train station and well worth the effort. The staff was very nice and helped us navigate the Spanish language menu. The food was delicious and the presentation was not an afterthought. This would be considered high-end vegan food in the US. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is the decor is a bit wonky and the decaf. cappuccino was weak. Other than that, it was a great experience and cost a bit less than I thought it would.

Esperaba bastante más, pero por las reseñas veo que o no es mi tipo de comida, o ese día había otra persona en cocina que no es la habitual. Dónde ponía guacamole y guasacaca te ponían unas lascas de aguacate cortado sin aliñar y donde pone ensalada te echan un mejunje de col que encima es dulce como un postre. Nos pareció caro e inflado y el servicio era como el de un salón de una casa.
