What a fab place. A fully separate vegan menu outside so already had our approval. We shared the vegan platter which was brilliant and tasty and then we had two different pizzas, the dough was wonderful and the flavours and toppings great and plentiful.

Great vegan options for the kids - Edit
Came across this place while wandering around the city. Pizzas looked amazing and would come for pizza next time (but we had had it the day before), we picked the vegan bowl salad and pumpkin soup with focaccia (loved the foccacia) - kids very happy to have a beyond burger and beyond chicken tenders. Also had a good cake menu! Will definitely be back.

They have this lovely little outdoor space in the middle of the restaurant, so it was nice and shaded from the heat and the wind. The service was nice too.

The second had artichoke, olives, sun dried tomato, mushroom, aubergine and vegan mozzarella.
Both were really full of toppings and really filling.
We ate half in the restaurant and took the other half away to eat that evening.

Tasty and extensive Vegan Options in Mdina - Edit
Ordered several vegan options: fries, garlic and chilli oil focaccia, and margarita pizza and penne arrabbiata to which we added vegan mozzarella. Also ordered the vegan pistachio pesto to drizzle over the arrabbiata and it was divine!

The drinks selection was also extensive - thoroughly enjoyed the range of fresh smoothies and iced coffee with oat milk!
They also have a few vegan dessert options that looked lovely but the mains portions were huge so we had to give them a miss this time!

Disappointing pizza - Edit
Got two pizzas - Ortolana and Sant’Agata. Both had very plain taste, no spices (even no oil/oregano/basil, pizza base had just plain tomato paste). First one consisted of thawed (not roasted) vegetables because they were probably thrown on pizza frozen. Second one had a bit more taste but still not enough. No protein on both pizzas, no vegan cheese. Pizza crust was good.

Really enjoyed the food here. It's not often you can't decide what to want because so many dishes looked good. The pumpkin soup was really good and I was worried they had put cheese on it, but when I asked the waiter he kindly told me it was grated coconut and said "we wouldn't put cheese on a vegan dish" which was also reassuring! The calzone was pretty big! I enjoyed it but wasn't crazy about the potatoes in the filling. This place offers some Delicata wines which are all vegan. Had a really nice early dinner here and would love to see them open a place outside of Mdina. Atmosphere was pretty nice.

Wir waren happy in dieser großartigen Location ein veganes Restaurant (auch mit veganem Kuchen) zu finden. Auf der Karte hat man auch noch eine große Vielfalt. Leider war das gewählte Gericht ziemlich „unlecker“. Beyond Meat Sausage mit Ofengemüse und Ofenkartoffeln. Die Wurst zu verkohlt, das Gemüse unappetitlich und die Kartoffeln ein Witz. Von der Qualität und Quantität. Der Preis dagegen war mit 19,90 Euro ziemlich stolz. Schade.

Really many vegan options, but not as good as hoped for... - Edit
I was excited for a restaurant with such a bunch of vegan options, but in the end it was not as good as I had hoped for. The Calzone was a rather strange combination with dried tomatoes, capers and potatoes inside. My non vegan daughter wanted to give it a try and has now another memory of vegan food not being good as for her simple vegan Margherita (they call it la rossa) was so hard to eat, more sauce than dough, kind of floated away on the plate. The vegan platter had Hummus that we didn't consider worth eating, but some vegan cheese and meat that was nice. And finally the vegan focaccia was well spiced but with the consistency of shoe leather...
