Something to eat - Edit
Not as good as most National Trust cafés because it is not run by the Trust, and doesn't have their commitment to plant based foods, but it is ok. There is nice seating outside under the tree and they consistently have one hummus sandwich for lunch. There is often a vegan cake - chocolate brownie, for instance - and they always seem to have two flavours of sorbet. Alternative milks are available for coffee and tea.
