Delicious gelato in gourmet flavors! The flavors rotate but they had sone amazing ones when I was there: coffee and donuts, pumpkin cheesecake, chocolate truffle, etc. they don’t let you try a sample before you choose, which was kind of lame, but I bet every flavor was good!

I’ve loved watching CC grow since their days of being a small gelato pop-up! Andrea and Kevin are innovative, kind, and care so much about the high quality of their food, even going as far as making sure their sprinkles are 100% vegan. I love that they offer a wide variety of desserts and sweet drinks now, I can always get something I haven’t tried before! They also offer vegan gelato and treats for dogs. They know their audience!

EXCELLENT Ice Cream and EXCELLENT Service - Edit
The BEST vegan ice cream in the greater Sacramento area! We've used them for delivery as gifts to family members during the pandemic and they always have gone above and beyond. Excellent customer service and excellent ice cream. I love that there are always new flavors and their shakes are delicious!

Awesome Gelato Spot - Edit
I've had conscious creamery products many times, and I think that the items found at this gelataria are among their best. I ordered a milkshake and a sundae from this establishment, and both were terrific. The sundae came with many classic toppings like hotfudge and peanuts.

These are A Few of My Favorite Things - Edit
Conscious Creamery has been a fantastic treat during COVID quarantine! Now it is part of our monthly routine. With a minimum order of $30, they have been delivering to Davis, at least during COVID. Not sure if this will continue once their storefront opens later in 2020, but for now, it is a seamless no contact delivery (you gotta be home though). You just order and pay online through their website. So there are so so many great flavors, and they change all the time but here are my favorites. Top of the list are the gelato tacos. You gotta try these to understand. There is a thick ribbon of fudge in the bottom of the taco, topped with vanilla gelato and half dipped in chocolate and rolled through toasted almonds. Next up is the lemon poppy seed gelato pint. My goodness it made a hot summer day better. And my surprising 3rd fav is the London Fog pint. It sounded too weird not to try and I love it. Luckily it is one they usually have, unlike the lemon poppy seed, which is more rare in the rotation. Another must try are the seasonal gelato tacos. We grabbed the ones they made for the 4th of July and thought they were amazing. They were stuffed with blueberry, cherry and vanilla gelato (with the usual fudge ribbon in the bottom of the taco shell) and we were fighting over them until they disappeared from the menu. I've got me eye out for any upcoming special releases. A bit of a splurge but oh so worth it.

Tried the ice cream taco and can’t wait to eat it again. So yummy. Waffle shell filled with vanilla ice cream with chocolate inside. Topped with chocolate and nuts. What’s not to like?

Strawberry Gelato Bar - Edit
They have a good strawberry gelato bar that is seasonal and only comes around in the summer time. I enjoyed it and it has a nice hard shell on the top with gives you that mix of a chocolate dipped strawberry with the sweetness and bittersweet chocolate. I enjoyed this place but would love to try other flavors of their gelato and not just in bar form.
