Overpriced

November 2019
Ordered a flat white, a short black and a tiny muffin for the very inflated price of $18. The muffin was $7.50 and not good! I was told there was a surcharge for Sundays... won't be back any time soon.

February 2018
Very happy to see another cafe go 100% vegan! Very good smoothie and a tasty but small and pricey veg pastry roll. As a preference I would like to see more cooked items alongside the raw offerings.

Pros: All vegan, Very pretty slices

Cons: Pricey

Pricey but amazing.

Honestly the price has never stopped me because the tarts are so amazing. Good customer service, also great coffee.

Pros: Tarts

Cons: Price

Good food, relatively good service

Conscious Cravings Co. is such a beautiful, tranquil setting for a cafe, with ample seating outside (although some of the outdoor tables are quite small) and indoors. They have some beautiful looking raw goodies too.
I ate the Eggs ‘n Bacon. The tofu scramble was delicious and had a beautiful consistency. The tempeh bacon was quite flavourful and wasn’t too much like the real thing, which I liked. The toast with it was good, and there was no margarine-like spread, which I personally found great.
The portion size was also really great and not too huge. Their double espresso over ice was also really great too, although I wish they stocked a cold brew or the like.

My friend had the Carrot and Ginger Soup, which I tried, and it had a huge amount of flavour and was a lovely warmth and consistency. The croutons with it were light and crunchy and a good addition to the soup.

Food was excellent as it always is there, although sometimes the service staff seem impatient or a little apathetic sometimes, especially when you can’t communicate to them straight away what your order is.
All in all, Conscious Cravings is great though, and definitely a great tranquil hub on the Peninsula for vegans and friends!!

Pros: Totally vegan, Flavourful food, good serving sizes, Really nice drinks, also do housemade nut milks

Cons: Not best value for meal size, Sometimes impatient service

Great little find!

I love this place. Great food, coffee and staff. The desserts are so good it’s ridiculous. Only issue is it’s a bit expensive. But I go there because I want to support a fantastic little vegan cafe.
