Decent

Compared to most supermarkets this is the best in Albania for vegan food. I couldn’t find the pesto I saw some reviews were talking about, but I got the vegan cream cheese, buratta, pistachio desert and tomato pasta sauce. Very expensive.

Pros: Best options in Albania for a supermarket

Cons: Expensive

The Better Conad

We visited quite a few Conad’s in Tirana during the week we visited Tirana and this was the best one we found.
This ones located on the ground floor of a shopping centre and has a huge selection.

I found baked goods, yogurts, ice cream, and Nutella alongside all the vegan basics.

Okay

Es gibt ein paar vegane Produkte, trotzdem würde ich 20 Minuten weiter zum Bioju laufen, dort gibt es mehr. Teuer!

Italian branch with options

Conad is an Italian supermarket chain so there were lots of Italian vegan food in there such as vegan cornetto, vegan magnum, vegan ice creams, vegan cheeses, chocolates and also vegan cleaning products.

A few vegan products - rare in Albania!

Have spent a few weeks travelling in Albania and been into dozens of different supermarkets, and this Conad is the only one I’ve managed to find specialty vegan products. We ducked in here to get some snacks while we waited for the bus, as it’s in front of the international bus station (in the basement level of Ring Center). There’s no specific vegan section, most of the stuff was mixed in with the “regular” products so you gotta keep an eye out for it. But was pleasantly surprised to see some Valsoia cream cheese and other items.
