Comstock Corner Cafe and General Store

I am a vegan and we were looking for where we could get breakfast the next morning. My husband talked to someone in the restaurant and asked if they could accommodate a vegan and he said, yes, they had oatmeal and their pancakes were vegan. I had a bowl of oatmeal with a selection of additions, so I chose almonds and dried cranberries. I also had raisin toast that was delicious, a bowl of fresh fruit and orange juice. We returned there for lunch and I had a large delicious dried tomato wrap, but there were other vegan selections as well. We will return there anytime we are in Virginia City.

Pros: Excellent food, friendly staff, Generous portions

Cons: They were understaffed.
