OK if you are visiting gardens

I'd say that the vegan options available are OK if you are visiting the gardens (which are lovely), but I wouldn't make a special trip to the cafe (unless I'd pre-booked tge afternoon tea that others have posted about!).
There were only a few vegan options on the menu. I had the pie, which was good and served with a nice salad.
It was a sunny day, so pleasant sitting outside.

Pros: Handy for gardens

Cons: Limited vegan options

Ok. Some vegan options. Expensive.

The cafe could do with more choices. No vegan sandwiches were available and only a couple of ‘cake’ options but not proper cake , things like shortbread. I bought a vegetable pie which is obviously bought in from the baker. The pie was lovely but small for £8 and not served with anything. Other reviews mention afternoon tea so I’ll have to try it one day. It’s a shame they can bake vegan scones for afternoon teas if given notice but don’t have vegan scones routinely. Overall this place has options but no where near as good as non vegan options.

Lovely afternoon tea!

Great value, generous portions including three varieties or cake/ scones and sandwiches. Latte included in price.
Lovely setting. Accommodating staff. Nice and quiet.

Vegan cream tea

Fantastic vegan cream tea, friendly and helpful staff, delicious vegan food.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious vegan food., Beautiful gardens.

Cons: Quite busy., Noisy children., Expensive.

Vegan Afternoon Tea

Lovely cafe in a beautiful setting. There are vegan options on the menu e.g vegan Vegetable dish. But I had called ahead and ordered a vegan afternoon tea which was delicious! 3 types of scones, 4 different flavour sandwiches and 2 cakes. All tasty and fresh. Very pleased, as having searched for afternoon tea in Bournemouth/Poole there are not many options.

Pros: Great vegan afternoon tea, Beautiful setting, Friendly staff

Cons: Not the cheapest
