Great food and even better service - Edit
From start to finish the service was exceptional all the staff were so friendly and welcoming, giving us recommendations etc. we had the falafel open wrap platter which was amazing the salad was fresh and crispy, the hummus was delicious and the falafel was perfection. We had it with a side of batata harra which were spicy potatoes and they were love as well, the right amount of crispiness but coated in the amazing spices and chillis. The food was also surprisingly filling. When we next go back to cheshire oaks we will definitely go to this place again.

Delightful Vegan Lebanese Meal! - Edit

Read moreI attempted to book online, but any time or day I chose was flagged as 'unavailable'. I tried to call them on the number listed on the Cheshire Oaks website, but that number is no longer in use. I was pretty set on wanting to eat here, and as I was travelling from Wales, I didn't want to leave it to chance to get a table so I put in a reservation request on their website. I got an automated email to confirm my request had been received, but that was not a confirmation. Two days go by, and I hear nothing, so this morning, I call them on the number listed on the automated email, which was also unavailable. Frustrated by how hard this chain was making it for me to eat at one of their restaurants, I tried the number listed on Google, and I got through to the restaurant. The staff member who took my call was great and explained they are not currently taking bookings, but will do so from May, and because of the hassle I had experienced, he reserved a table for me anyway. Once I was at the restaurant, everything was great. The staff were all aware of the table that had been kept for us and as the restaurant was empty we got to pick our own table. Each team member and one young man in particular were absolutely wonderful. They were so lovely that it made up for the horrible booking experience I had due to the franchise having outdated and confusing information about this restaurant online.
Now, onto the food. There are many vegan options at Comptoir Libanis. I absolutely adore Lebanese food, so I felt spoilt for choice. To drink, I had a refreshing Fresh Rose Mint Tea, and as my meal, I had the Falafel Open Wrap Platter. It is not listed as vegan on their physical menu, but it is on their online menu, and the dish is vegan. The food was really lovely. The dish came with a delicious Comptoir Salad and dips, one of which (the spicy one) was gorgeous. The falafel and wrap were perfectly cooked, and the food was beautifully presented, making it in keeping with the beautiful decor and music in the restaurant.
I would like to eat here again and try their enticing Mezze dishes, although I'd be apprehensive to book online after my experience. I'd either walk in on a quiet day or call to make a booking.
