Good vegan food- limited options but Amboise has very few choices for vegan food - Edit
There is a vegan salad and a vegan gallette (savoury crepe). I had the gallette and it was delicious. The venue is a little out of town and so not quite as busy, but it can be hard to find a table in the high season.
Read moreAlthough there appear to be few options, Amboise is particularly difficult for vegan diners so this is actually a really good option.
Some of the staff were not very welcoming, but the great selection of tea made up for it :)

We had a good vegan crepe for takeaway. They had 2 vegan options on their menu, but you can also select your own ingredients.
Read moreWe had some miscommunication when we first ordered. The server ordered the wrong vegan crepe, one with olives, which I really don't like. So we went back to the restaurant to exchange them. She was really sweet, she apologised for the mistake and quickly ordered the right ones.

Il existe une galette vegane avec des tomates, des olives et de l'artichaut mais quelle déception, la galette étant clairement labellisée comme végane je pensais qu'elle était travaillée en réalité pas du tout il s'agit d'une galette avec ces ingrédients de jetés dans la galette sans plus de réflexion sur les saveurs et les assaisonnements ... Une crêperie sans option végane à qui j'aurai demandé un plat vegan n'aurait pas fait mieux. Bon point pour l'effort de mettre un plat végane à la carte mais il ne reste plus qu'à trouver une vraie bonne galette végane !
