Good option for groups - Edit
Always friendly service, this a go to option for blended groups of dietary preferences/needs. Free chips and salsa, strawberry daiquiris are great and has vegetarian options that can be made vegan. Bland without assistance so I usually bring some things with to add (ie vegan cheese etc) as the items that can be vegan need to have cheese, sour cream, gauc and so on removed and most of the menu relies on dairy for flavor.

Vegan options with a pet friendly patio - Edit
We recently dined at Compañeros in Park Rapids, MN, and was pleasantly surprised by the number of veg options. The experience was made even more enjoyable by our server, Madison, who was truly AWESOME. We also brought our very friendly and giant Bernedoodle, and appreciated the pet-friendly screened-in porch where we could all relax together.

I opted for the Beyond Tacos, and my partner chose the Vegetable Medley Burrito, both ordered without cheese. While only my food lasted long enough for a photo, overall everything looked and tasted great, although we wished both dishes had been more flavorful. The spiciest salsa carried was mild at best, but sometimes that’s just the Midwest for ya.
Unfortunately, my order was initially made incorrectly and included cheese. Madison quickly corrected the mistake and was very apologetic for the kitchen’s error. Her excellent customer service saved the experience for us, as she took it very seriously that I had been served dairy after not consuming it for almost 10 years. She even adjusted our bill to account for the error and inconvenience.
We plan to return next summer when we visit Park Rapids again and hope to be served by Madison or another server with the same intentionality and attention to detail. Thanks, Madison!
