This adorable corner cafe had numerous clearly labeled vegan food and sweets. We ate there four times while we were in Canmore. Everything we ate was delicious! The chai and the maple latte were also excellent. We tried several of the vegan sweets from the dessert case and we kept coming back for more! Highly recommend this place! They have outdoor seating which is great for people watching in the summer 😊

Most of the menu can be ordered vegan and there are tons of fresh tasty choices. Only way to improve would be to switch to fully vegan😄

Delicious healthy vegan food - Edit
We tried the Thai Yoga Bowl with tofu, Satay Noodle Bowl with tofu, and the Mediterranean Bowl. The Thai Yoga Bowl was my favorite but all were delicious and the Tropical Green Tea was really good too! So refreshing to find a place with so many vegan options. Too bad it was close to the end of my vacation because I wanted to go back again!

We had a few meals at Communitea during our stay in Canmore. The first visit was so good we came back the next day because some of the family wanted to try more of the menu. The vegan burrito and the yoga bowl(add tofu scramble) were my favorites. Everything tasted so good. We had each meal to go and the packaging was done well with no issues getting the food back to our lodging. My daughter tried several of their drinks and really enjoyed them.

Best vegan food in the Rockies - Edit
Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the range of options available! I had the VLT and was shocked how tasty it was. The coconut bacon was amazing. Coffee also great. The sandwich was so good I got soup to take home and the cheesey broccoli did not disappoint! Would 100% come here again.

I truly enjoyed my lunch at Communitea Cafe. They were able to accommodate my vegan sugar free request and gladly looked up ingredients to ensure that what I ordered worked for me. They have outdoor tables too so you can take in the neighborhood while you eat.

I loved this place! Most of the menu is or can be made vegan, they have a few options with meat so it’s a great choice for eating out with non-vegans. They have a huge tea collection that is super cool, and the cafe has a very nice vibe. I got the vegan burrito which was 10/10

Excellent vegan options in Canmore - Edit
Communitea is a very bright and airy cafe in the heart of downtown Canmore, serving wholesome, nourishing food. They have an abundance plant-based/vegan dishes and treats, all of which are clearly labelled on the menu. Their Mediterranean bowl was very filling and tasty. Great place to refuel after a hike, or just to relax and hang out!

I’ve been to Communitea too many times to count! I love their vegan bowl options and their burrito. They also always have baked goods available in the cabinet and I tried the blueberry muffin yesterday! Highly recommend for vegans travelling through Canmore.

A true gem of a cafe. Nice place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service, a ton of vegan options; so many options in fact, it was very hard to make a choice. The portion was generous, the ingredients were fresh and the soup was sooo good. A must when in Canmore.

We grabbed the falafel wrap and the vegan burrito, along with a mixed berry and cranberry/carrot muffin. Everything was amazing, both wraps were so delicious and filling.
The burrito came with chips and Vegan queso and the falafel wrap came with their in-house popcorn which is super flavourful. One thing I really did like was both wrap didnt fall apart when eaten!
The muffins were amazing as well, honestly devoured both of them very quickly.
