My home away from home

Nearly everything on the menu is vegan or can be made vegan. This natural foods store was created by an environmental justice scholar who wanted to bring nutrient dense and all organic foods into the community. With locally sourced foods, a wide range of teas and herbs and soul healing fresh made soups and crepes, you’ll come for the good food and stay for the free book library, local crafts, abundant table space, free wifi, and the absolutely incredibly welcoming owners. Insider tip- if you like spice, ask for the homemade hot sauce.
Vegans looks for soup (all soups vegan), cookies, macaron, and the black bean crepe. Owner said she originally wanted all veg/vegan and added meat by local request so if vegans come out in force maybe that menu can shift back.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere/friendly , Lots of tables

Cons: Long lines/wait times, Not all vegetarians

Warm, welcoming, great crepes

Edit to add: have been back many times since first submitting this to Happy Cow back in August -- absolutely love this place. Their soups, sweet and savory crepes, and vegan macaron are all fantastic (and they have incredible house-made hot sauce too!). We're not in the area anymore but will still drive an hour out of our way to stop in when we can

Friendly staff and owner, very accommodating and walked us through all their vegan options. We wandered in for tea and coffee-- excellent boba tea and good iced coffee-- but ended up splitting an amazing hazelnut butter crepe with vegan whipped cream too. Huge selection of bulk loose leaf tea and herbs to take home as well
Great space with tons of comfy seating, a surprisingly large and diverse library, as well as board games to entertain yourself while you're there. So glad to have stumbled in here on a whim, and to have this option in town. Will definitely be back!
