As a vegan, I was disappointed by the ONLY ONE option for me - it's a vegetarian restaurant! At 8 pm on a Wednesday, there was only one vegan dish, and that was a vegetable spaghetti. The meal was ok, nothing to be crazy about but good for a quick bite on the mall. The lemonade was fresh and very good. Not an excellent restaurant, but it's a good choice to have on this Portuguese mall.

There are two "Comida e Volta", one in the Shopping Cidade do Porto and another one in the Campus Shopping (next to the hospital). This one is the least bad, as the other one is worse when it comes to vegan options, but it's still pretty lame.
In this buffet-style place you can get a half-decent meal for a half-decent price but not more than that. I used to go here a lot when there were no better options but not only have new places opened up but also the quality of this place decreased over time and it got harder to get vegan options. If you're there, you'll be better off going down to Celeiro and having a soup and some pies. There are also some nice veg*an restaurants in the Boavista area so really there's no need to go here.
The place is also not very nice, as it is in a mall and you're surrounded by places serving lots of meat.
When I was in Porto I was surprised by how many places looked vegan on the outside but weren’t really. It was hard to explain there was a difference between vegan and vegetarian. Anyway, I end up in this restaurant which looked appealing to me, it had very funny pictures on the walls but there were not many choices for vegan people, so I had a soup, which was pretty good. But I would have loved to have something more solid!!
For a vegetarian restaurant, to have vegan options it's always good. They had two dishes, seitan with sweet potato and soy and mushroom "meatless balls" with spaghetti, although the lady wasn't quite sure if the second one had egg or not. The seitan was okay but not very flavourful - a bit pricey for the quality I'd say. The lady taking orders was very friendly and helpful. Would give it another chance.
They didn't have a lot of vegan options. I had to explain that I didn't want any cheese nor milk nor eggs. They charged me the full price for a plate with the only three vegan things they had (brown rice, a cabbage dish and mushrooms). The food wasn't bad, but nothing especial. I would rather pay a bit (just a bit) more and eat in the nearby DaTerra.
Been there a few times over the years, since ovo-lacto-vegetarian since it was one of the first and only (ovo-lacto)vegetarian spots in Boavista while it is still open, others have closed. So I can't recall if there are many vegan options, altough they change daily (and have some fixed a la carte options).
The food is OK, not really great, the space lacks personalization and it's inside a shopping center (on the last floor), near pizza hut and meat grills and other awful places / smells.
The price is no bad for the daily menu, but it could be better, the food quality should be better.
