Serves meat, vegan options available. Build-your-own salad, wrap, or pita with selections from an assortment of chopped veggies and fruits plus dressings. Has dessert cups with combinations of cooked fruit and spices. Located at Casa del Arcoiris (the rainbow house), 50 meters west of the Hospital Calderon Guardia visitors ramp on a side street. Replaced the previous Cambalache with change of ownership and food concept. SHUT DOWN IN 2018 PER OWNER.

Fantastic ingredients, price, and service

I ate here last week when spending a night in San José. I live in Costa Rica outside the cities and find it quite different to find an abundance of fresh produce - but boy did Coma Verde help give me some other options!

Pros: Fantastic selection of organic produce, Prices are quite low compared to competition, Owners are quite accommodating, speak English

Cons: None - this place would be 5 stars if I could

Delicious meal and desert!

I have gone several times. I usually have the bowl, which let's you choose the ingredients- such as the vegetables, protein (soy, tofu, ect.) carbohydrate (potatoes, bread) and sauce.

The service is wonderful. The owners are both very friendly

Tasty

The food was good and the owner was very nice. Has many vegan options and even the possibility to veganize dishes that aren't. They're very accommodating, would highly recommend

Pros: Good food, Vegan options, Nice staff

Cons: Slow
