No vegan options - Edit
There are no vegan options, only vegetarian.
Read moreThe burger mentioned in previous reviews is coated in bread crumbs which contain milk and since the burger patties are prepared ahead of time, it cannot be modified. The same goes for the breaded olives.
The waitress was very helpful double-checked to see if there was a chance the bread crumbs used on that day were vegan after all (sadly, they weren't) and gave me some suggestions of what I could ask for instead. In the end, she said the safest bet would be to create a salad with ingredients listed on the menu so I created a Franken-salad (their Mista salad with sautéed mushrooms, grilled zucchini and pineapple) and had 3 potatoes on the side.
The food was incredibly bland. No dressing was offered besides olive oil and white vinegar, so the salad (which was consisted of mostly lettuce with small portions of the added ingredients) tasted like nothing. The potatoes tasted like they hadn't been seasoned at all.
I was charged as if I ate one of their more elaborate salads (and it was the same price as the veggie burger, a proper filling meal with fries on the side) but I don't think this was worth the price.
There's honestly no reason for this place to be listed on Happy Cow since no actual vegan meals are served here. The staff was nice and helpful, but that doesn't really make it worth the visit.

Vegan Friendly - Edit
We went to Pinta, mainly because of the staff. The manager was also our Airbnb host. He and his team are very friendly and funny, and the place is really nice. They know about vegan diet and are very helpful to serve vegan dishes. There are vegan burgers, salads and pasta on the menu, other vegetarian dishes can be changed to vegan on request. Good price!

Worth a visit for breaded olives!! - Edit
Vegan options are not great but we asked for some modifications and they've been very kind to do all their best and serve us something adequate for our diet.

The vegan burger was great, quite original. Staff were friendly and well informed (warning us that the burger bun that day wasn't guaranteed to be vegan). I wish I could give 3.5 as it's obviously great that they have a vegan option.

I found out today that none of the side dishes are actually suitable for vegans. The only side dish they have that is suitable for vegans is salad.
