Tri Duc
17 C Le Hong Phong, Phuong 2, District 10 (at Nguyen Trai), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam,
Com Chay Tri Duc a bare-bones restaurant serving primarily the traditional buffet consisting of rice, vegetables and mock meats. They list three daily specials on the wall that look to be unchanging. No menu and no English is spoken. No decor. Reported not to be 100% vegan in December 2016 - please check as the owner may not fully understand that dairy and eggs are not part of a vegan diet. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-10:00pm. Open daily for all meals.

Cheap - Edit
Came late in the evening. Not much of anything left. No English spoken so got a bit of what was left over. Only ate here as was passing. Probably better when there is more choice earlier in the day.
Pros: cheap

Special Price for Whiteys - Edit
The food here is quite good, but we were charged 3000 VND for a plain bread roll, and an additional 1000 VND for mugs of tea. As we were literally straight off the boat, we didn't realise that herbal tea is complimentary with every meal. We were wondering why the owner literally burst out laughing when we returned for a second meal. Not a bad place, if you don't mind being jeered by a bunch of allegedly staunch practising Buddhists.

Cheap and cheerful - Edit
Fairly popular and tasty local fare. Only 32k for rice, 5 buffet selections and ice tea.. Friendly staff, but not much English spoken
