Great Coffee, Good Food

Came here to get coffee and discovered some vegan options. First, the coffee is superb. Soy and oat options and a variety of drinks. Second, only one noted vegan item on the menu, the Vegan Sandwich, which is a pumpkin patty similar to a hash brown on a sandwich roll with lettuce, sautéed onions, tomato, served with fries (chips) and vegan aioli.

Sandwich was really tasty and in a town with very little vegan options it’s nice to have. Didn’t try the vegan desserts out is the case but they looked good.

Also funny note, the cafe is located in the garden center of a Mitre 10 Mega store, which is like a NZ Home Depot. Don’t be confused when you roll up to it. You’re in the right place!
