On the soft serve: I have been fortunate to eat lots of delicious vegan ice cream! While I’m grateful for Cold Truth’s existence, I don’t love it. I can’t quite put my finger/tongue on what it is but the soft serve ice cream is weirdly a little flavorless. I appreciate the variety of toppings, and I’m excited to try their “hard scoop” options when they’re back.

I think there is a slight coconut undertone to the chocolate and vanilla, but it was still good. Nice and creamy, not icy or watery. And not sickeningly sweet. I enjoyed the chocolate dip. The regular cones are gluten free, but don't let that dissuade you; I couldn't tell the difference since those types of cones are so processed anyway. It hit the spot for soft serve, and I'm glad I went.

We got the 2 rotating flavors, lavender and chai. The flavors were delicious, but the chai flavor wasn’t strong enough for me. We got them with toppings too, but felt like they were skimping out on the amount. If you get it in a cup you get way more toppings. The waffle cones themselves are delicious.

we were sooo surprised by how creamy and decadent this ice cream was. my bf said it is the closest to dairy ice cream that any vegan ice cream has tasted for him! there are only a few flavors to choose from but i like that bc i have decision fatigue. hah. so so so good we got regular size but we fr could have split a kiddie. no inside area tho which would be annoying if it was bad weather

The peanut butter flavor is to DIE FOR if you love peanut butter. All of their ice cream I believe is coconut based and the flavor does come through. They have a variety of vegan cones as well which I have yet to try. I keep forgetting to take pics because I always devour the ice cream before I actually take a picture! 🤣

i have no words for how good their ice cream is… just… wow… i lived in detroit for a few months in 2019-2020 when i got to try it for the first time. i now drive 1.5 hours to come get it every once in a while. yum!!!!!❤️❤️😍 the texture, the flavor… unlike anything you’ve ever had. yass!

All vegan soft serve in the heart of midtown. Flavors rotate and are all amazing, plus they have vegan waffle cones, lots of toppings, and fun specials. Staff is always super helpful and kind, even when the line wraps around the block. So grateful for this place!
