Under new management - but still vegan friendly - Edit
There is no longer anything vegan on the printed menu, but they had some specials on the blackboard which were clearly labelled as vegan. I had some pancakes with fresh fruit and soy ice cream, which was fresh and yummy. My partner had a bean ragout with avocado on toast, which he enjoyed. I hope they continue to provide tasty vegan options!

Coffee1st,where have you been all my (vegan) life? - Edit
Saying this cafe is vegan 'friendly' would be an under statement!! Their menu is creative, mouth watering and affordable. You know that feeling of having to be extra careful when going to a cafe when ordering or the frustration of wanting to have something on the menu that looks veganisable but you're just not in the mood to or explain? Well it won't happen at Coffee1st! Just say 'I'm vegan' and the staff will make you feel at home! Their bread and cakes are amazing. Matt and I are seriously considering making it a weekly tradition to go there for lunch from now on. Vegans and vegetarians, you will not believe the endless choice they will offer you...meat lovers, you might feel like ordering a vegan option today!! I would give it a 5/5 if the website didn't make the max rate 4/5!!!

Yay for coffee 1st - Edit
Coffee 1st is relatively new, having just celebrated its first birthday. It's a godsend to local vegans and vegetarians, as there's not much for us to eat in Dulwich Hill. They stock Funky Pies, as well as some very tasty cakes and chic brownies. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the cafe has a nice atmosphere as a result. The coffee is great too! I'd give them five cow heads if the website would let me :)

Warm and friendly, with an expanding menu - Edit
A friendly local business with great coffee and a good mix of vegitarian and vegan offerings, Coffee 1st provides both lunch options (soups, burgers, wraps and funky pies) and treats (sweets) for v*gan diners. Staff are willing to try new things and the menu is set to expand over time. Very responsive to v*gan needs. Child friendly with a multiple spaces to eat and talk.
