No food except cakes - Edit

We were informed, unless you order ahead, say if you have an event, Coffee 8 is only available for cake and coffee. I will not be going back for coffee.

One star for the friendly service, and one because I feel bad for only giving one star. :0

You know, for 12 weeks straight we ran a most amazing vegan and vegetarian restaurant, and the response was devastating!
Eventually shut down the kitchen except for vegan and veg and GF cakes! Our venue at least took out a meat-prep place and rebuilt the kitchen from the ground up ... our boards and walls have never seen one single meat dish, nor our plates, nor our cutlery. and so a bit upsetting we get 2 stars for trying, and for investing 6-figure sums to get rid of a meat venue? So how about you Give Me a Break?

Fantastic Coffee and Vegan Treats - Edit

COFFEE 8 is a specialist coffee house offering a full range of vegan options, including 100% sticky spice chai, almond, soy and oat drinks, a good range of vegan cakes, and depending on the day, one or two vegan soups made fresh on the premises.
The owners rebuilt the kitchen literally from the ground up with new stainless steel walls and equipment and its kitchen has never seen a single drop of animal blood and fully prohibits the entry of meats into its kitchen.
Vegan curries are sometimes cooked fresh to order, but due to the small community support for vegan and vegetarian food, the owners have decided to concentrate on one good dish a day rather than a whole lot of tasteless quantity-based meals.

Pros: Fresh well prepared meals, All coffee drinks offer 100% vegan chocolate , Quality is the biggest focus

Cons: Food range is limited, but good
