Good cakes and pastries!

I was surprised to find a wide range of vegan cakes and even a croissant here! All labelled and very good! Lots of beverages with different plant milk options available too, soy milk even free of charge. Only their savoury breakfast was dissapointing: only one small overprized packed sandwich.😒Staff is super friendly!😊

Pros: so many vegan cakes/pastries, huge space, free soy milk

Cons: overprized small vegan sandwich

Basic vegan options

Shared a wrap, a pecan cake and a pumpkin spiced chai. The wrap was a bit boring, unspiced and empty. The pecan cake and latte were ok, although not worth the detour of you ask me 🤨 But if you are into anonymous big places part of a chain, you would probably feel comfortable here in one of there couches.

Pros: Big inside and outside

Cons: Not many vegan options

Decent lunch stop

I needed a fuel stop at Chepstow and couldn't see anything listed on Happy Cow so decided to wing it. Ended up at Coffee #1 on the strength of their outdoor seating and places to lock my bike. Had a pot of Rooibos with oat milk (excellent) and a blackcurrant crumble slice (above average).
Nobody objected to me eating the vegan sausage rolls I grabbed from the Greggs a few doors up.
Nothing special, but it served my purpose and I'll probably head there again next time I cycle that way.

Pros: Outdoor seating; places to lock bike, Very good tea

Cons: Not many vegan savoury options
