Terrible

After waiting outside for around 10 mins for the shop to open, I was left waiting for 15 mins in the shop with the lady just doing her stuff but ignoring me (-_-) I decided to leave. I will not return, just go to Fete Le March cafe which is pretty close by and much friendlier awesome staff, not to mention delicious food!

Pricey but worth it

Coconut Dream is a welcome find indeed— a bakery/ patisserie where EVERYTHING is vegan! It’s located about a 10 minute walk from Mukogaoka-Yuen station in Kawasaki.

The small shop sells all kinds of things, from cookies to cakes to breads and everything in between. It was really hard to choose, but eventually we settled on the Chestnut Foccacia , the Cranberry Choco Roll, and the Boston Cream Pie.

The items were a little pricey at 500-800yen each, but we thought it was money well spent. Everything was delicious! We can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Huge selection , Delicious

Cons: Not cheap

Clean dessert eating

The staff was so nice and spoke great English. She help with decisions and was able to explain ingredients. Just keep in mind it’s small, so if busy you may have to wait outside. It will be well worth a wait though. We went in a weekend and not busy at all.

Pros: Lots of choices

Cons: Small shop

Delicious vegan pastries!

There aren’t really any vegan options in the area, so this bakery is like a little oasis. We had the pineapple muffin, the blueberry cinnamon roll, and the blueberry focaccia. They were all delicious and full of flavor, but just a bit too oily for my personal preference. The oil did hold them well together though, considering they were all gluten-free. Almost everything was vegan, only a few of the prepackaged cookies had honey. There were a few seats in the bakery, but we took our pastries to go to eat in the park.

Cons: Expensive
