Pie 18

Pie 18 is part of this restaurant. Part of the proceeds go to a non-profit. They keep adding more vegan options to their menu! They even have vegan cheese for pizzas. Ask about fake meat. Last time I asked, the fake meat options were all vegetarian not vegan. Delicious and affordable build your own thin crust pizza. One of the few Kosher dairy restaurants in Baltimore that is vegan friendly.

Challenging

I found the menu system difficult. The options offered were not clear as to being vegetarian, vegan, or neither. Fast-paced ordering at a counter to-go or sit in a food court waiting for delivery. I found a written menu in an obscure corner where I was able to see more options that were not seen at the counter after I ordered. Fair selection for a non-vegan vegetarian.

There was notice of new earlier closing hours that do not match listing here and no opening hours. Went to website for confirmation and there are no hours listed at all. Therefore, I strongly suggest a call-ahead if you plan to visit.

Located in a shopping center, this business shares ownership with three other restaurants in the center. This is a cafe style on-the-go coffee shop. Their other locations include a deli style and a fine-dining style.

I would return here again to see if the challenges from my first experience was just a fluke.

Pros: Fair number of options

Cons: Disorganized menu/ordering system, Confusing hours and undisclosed hours of operation
