Hipster hangout - Edit

Too cool for school coffee shop with tons of hipsters and excellent coffee and unusual cacao drink menu. Soy milk available. Local pastries and specialty chocolate bars also available for purchase.

Pros: Funky atmosphere , Cacao drink menu

Cons: A little pricey

pricey but worth it for quality - Edit

Excellent vegan options for drinks. Can try their drinking chocolates which are pure cacao and spices so no dairy at all. Always have vegan options in the pastry/ display case like local cookies or snacks. Those snacks are always clearly labeled if gf or vegan. Knowledgable baristas. Dog friendly in outside area.

Interesting Flavors - Edit

I would have to say that Coco Cinnamon is a great place when you want to treat yourself with a special drink that you cannot necessarily find anywhere else. I have had funky lattes there that I would never think of creating myself. They are accommodating and have non dairy milks/separate everything when making drinks.

Creative and unique vegan friendly coffee - Edit

What's not to love about this place? Ok, maybe the wait for your coffee as you stand in a long line reading through a book of a menu. Or, maybe it's the small sizes of 6 or 12 oz. that makes a caffeine-addict feel guilty or "called out" because you want to really order 2 12 oz. drinks?

Other than that, this place is incredible in its attention to the coffee, the coffee, the coffee. The baristas are on point and talented individuals who give the care and attention to your beverage as would a fine chef in a restaurant. I don't know how they keep it all in order!

Some of the espresso signature drinks have dairy already incorporated (chocolate), or honey, but there are some easily vegan with almond or soy milk. Delicious delicious delicious. I was impressed with how they have these beautiful creations to choose from, rather than just a simple latte or mocha. Thanks for this, Cocoa Cinnamon!

The baked goods are locally made, and in small selection. However, there was one vegan item, a brownie, and it also happened to be gluten-free. It was good! They have other prepared food items to purchase like chocolate bars, but other than that, this place is really just about the coffee!

Pros: Almond milk, Incredible espresso drink blends, Vegan gluten free baked goods

Cons: Small beverage sizes

vegan/gluten-free options - Edit

Along with excellent espresso/coffee drinks they always have a few options of vegan baked goods and sometimes savory items.
As of April 2014, they were selling a local baker's goodies (Joie de Vegan) like brownies, cakes, and muffins, which are all 100% vegan/gluten-free.
Love supporting this place and the great community they foster.

Pros: vegan options, great espresso with creative options, community-minded owners

Cons: can get very busy with long waits
