My brother and I ordered a few dishes for lunch and we were satisfied with our choices. My favourite part was the soup, thick with MSG and very tasty. The other dishes tasted good, but nothing special (compared to other vegan Chinese restaurants I've been lucky to try, such as Tofu Vegan in London for instance). Still, I was happy to order from a local restaurant that specialises in vegan foods.

Read moreI called the restaurant knowing it's not too far from me and the fact that they kept cancelling my order could not have been personal.
I asked if they deliver to my neighborhood. I gave them my zip code and the woman in the phone says "sure, we deliver there." And I said GREAT! Because I was told it was too far before but I'm not that far away and this restaurant comes up as the CLOSEST one when I go to GrubHub and DoorDash.
She told me to hold on, and then she hung up on me.
When I called back she said we don't deliver to you because you complained about not getting the curry sauce with the curry roll.
She FLAT OUT said that this restaurant is DENYING my service because I wrote in ONE GrubHub review that I didn't get sauce.
This is discrimination. And for what?
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! BOYCOTT THIS PLACE AND THEIR NASTY FOOD.
I don't know why a restaurant would feel some kind of way because I said they forgot something in my order. So now I'm banned? I wish I could have recorded the conversations because it wasn't nice at all. She was literally screaming at me on the phone. I didn't raise my voice at all. But she was screaming. At the top of her lungs.
This is the worst service ever! These people should not be running a restaurant if this is their mindset.
Do you do this to ALL of your customers? Or only the black ones in certain neighborhoods hmmm.
Make it make sense.

I used to order from them all the time. One time they forgot the curry sauce with my curry rolls. I told GrubHub and they gave me a refund.
Ever since, I tried to order and they cancelled my order. Twice. I called the restaurant and they said my location is "too far". But on every delivery app, they are the first ones that comes up because they're the closest. Plus someone in my neighborhood ordered from them and had no problem ordering. So for some reason this is a personal issue. They have been instructed to cancel my order every time they see my name and address. I don't know what I supposedly did to deserve this, but this is really bad business and I don't recommend them to anyone.

Order was placed on their website. I liked the option of selecting the desired time for pick-up. Arrived five minutes to 2:00 pm and my order was hot and ready. There are so many options to choose from on their menu. This place is a must try. You will not be disappointed. I will be back soon!

Visited CoCo Lin for the first time today. Been living 20mins or so from this place for nine years but since I’m never in Ridgewood, I’ve never heard of it. The options seem to be general Chinese food fare, and sometimes that’s exactly what you’re craving. I had the Massaman curry and my the wife had the mei fun and veggie dumplings. We both had the same reaction: m’eh. I’m really not trying to crap on this place. It was good food, in a nice busy neighborhood, and very friendly service (eg. the lady at the register didn’t recognize me, so when I began to order, she reminded me the entire menu was 100% vegan) I simply feel like although we all crave Chinese food sometimes, nobody thinks it’s the most delicious food around 🤷🏻♂️ all that being said, I’ll definitely be going back

My first ever visit to CoCo Lin was beyond my expectations. It's a warm friendly unhurried restaurant with a down home feel. My guests and I enjoyed three different scrumptious appetizers and we each had a delicious and very reasonable lunch menu meal. The piping hot gratis jasmine green tea was amazing and satisfying. I only wish I had tried this amazing vegan restaurant sooner. I know I will be back very soon.

Ridgewood and surrounding areas have nothing like cocolin, so that alone makes me thankful for them. But otherwise the food is very good, chicken nuggets are bomb, my favs are the sugarcane drumsticks, nuggets, summer rolls, noodle dishes, veggie dishes etc. So good. Coco is the sweetest. She is even delivering to me far away from the restaurant and I really appreciate it because they're my favorite delivery place. All vegan, relaxed, fair prices, good portions. Love this place!

A great surprise & my new go-to Chinese place. Ordered two lunch specials for $16 including tax — General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. Both came with hot and sour soup. All of it tasted pretty much like the real thing...for a lot of it you could almost not tell someone it’s vegan and they wouldn’t know
