Serves meat, vegan options available. Japanese curry house chain. Ask for the separate vegetarian menu which offers a number of vegetable and vegan curries, with/ spinach, mushroom, mix veg, or eggplant. These may be customized with extra ingredients. Curry is served with a portion of rice. Indicate spice level and portion size at the time of placing order. Must order from this menu for your curry to be vegan. On the regular menu, the vegetable curry contains meat, but you'll find a vegan salad or two. Note that not all branches provide vegan curry options, suggested to check ahead. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-1:00am.

Good curry - Edit
You can combine their vegetarian curry with a range of vegetables to get a nice vegan meal. Many locations and long opening hours.

No, not quite, but it is easy anyway. I added one more picture with an order description out of the english menu ☺️. It is just important that you point out the vegetarian curry (not the vegetable curry as that has a meat curry base)

Great quick meal - Edit
Lovely curry! Can alter heat and spice level, as well as the amount of rice you would like. We ended up eating here a couple of times on our trip, quick and easy. As mentioned, be sure to order the one specifically marked vegetarian and using no animal products.

Great quick bite - Edit
I was stressed and running late coming into Osaka from Hakone. I got to check in at my hostel late and hungry and running on anxiety energy, checked HC to see if there was any chance of vegan food that wasn't another conbini onigiri. This place was a godsend. It feels kind of like a Waffle House inside (idk why??) But they do have the vegetarian menu and it's a decent amount of food. I ate around 10:30pm and maybe the anxiety is talking here but it was so good. I had the veg curry with eggplant.
Read moreIt's definitely not a destination meal imho, but it's a great option, especially if you are jonesing for comfort food.

Tasty curry, good labels - Edit
The vegetarian menu was on the table behind the regular menus. Everything was very clearly marked and explained in English. Ordered a vegetarian curry with vegetables and eggplant and asked them to add mushrooms, which was no problem (though it did add a little to the price). It was tastier than I expected, and plenty filling. Would come again.

Nice curry, cheap and quick - Edit
As others have said, this is a chain but only some locations (like this one) have a vegetarian menu. There are a number of vegetable curries on offer, all with the same brown curry base which the menu states is free from all animal derivatives. The curry is very tasty, and at around 700 yen it's also cheap. Good if you're getting a bit short on cash from the exclusively vegan restaurants in Japan, which while great and very welcome all seem to be pricey compared to the omni restaurants!

Cons: No tofu or soy meat
