Serves meat, vegan options available. Japanese curry house chain. Ask for the separate vegetarian menu which offers a number of vegetable and vegan curries, with/ spinach, mushroom, mix veg, or eggplant. These may be customized with extra ingredients. Curry is served with a portion of rice. Indicate spice level and portion size at the time of placing order. Must order from this menu for your curry to be vegan. On the regular menu, the vegetable curry contains meat, but you'll find a vegan salad or two. Note that not all branches provide vegan curry options, suggested to check ahead. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:30pm.

Good vegetarian Curry - Edit
Plenty of curry options for my friends who are not vegetarian too. Good curry at a decent price! Watch the spice levels because they can get quite high. Make sure you use the specific zero meat page on the menu. Vegetable curries still have meat base.

A good place to eat. - Edit
Eating here was my second time at a Coco Ichibanya. The vegan curry was just as good as the first time. I tried out the customisation more and it went well due to good service. This restaurant has a selection of books to choose from if you'd like to. At the time I went it wasn't as busy as other Coco Ichibanya locations.

No vege menu - Edit
Sadly no vege menu when we asked for it (even tried google translate). The vegetable curries are made from pork sauce even though there’s no physical meat bits...

No vegetarian options - Edit
Went there and asked for the vegetarian menu but they did not have one. All other options on the menu have a meat based sauce. Only options are a green salad

Good Curry - Good Price - Edit
It is a good option for those who want to try Japanese curry. The vegan dish I got was the vegetable curry from the vegetarian menu - free of animal-derived ingredients. Doesn't taste amazing but still good. It's a lifesaver when you don't have any options around you since it's a franchise.
Read moreYou can customise the amount of spice and rice you like which is quite nice for a change.
Pros: Friendly staff, Good value, Franchise

Very handy in Japan - Edit
This is a chain of japanese curry restaurants that has a special menu of curries which are animal product free - so vegan.
Read moreYou can customise your curry by adding different veg, reducing or adding rice, making it more spicy etc. Details of how to customise are in the international/english menu. Be careful about making your curry milder as the super mild options contain honey.
Make sure you order from the green menu as vegetable curry from the main menu contains meat.
They are rolling out the vegetarian/vegan menu across the chain. So far all the ones I’ve been to (in major cities) have had the menu.
Very useful and very tasty!
