Cakes to die for - Edit
Came here for cakes. They’re very expensive (western prices) but so good. We got a lime cheesecake and a nutty chocolate tart. Both were amazing with taste and textures. Would be too pricey to come for meals I think but perfect for a cake stop!

Great vegan cafe - Edit
Had brunch at Coco & Co. They are linked with Le Trio, next door, who makes the coffee.
Read moreI had a nice cafe latte, avocado toast and a smoothie (banana, avo, walnut, almond milk). Everything was good, and much appreciated. Thank you.
Note: Coffee is from Le Trio, next door. There are 3 plant mylks to choose from, and also cow's milk (Le Trio isn't vegan)
...
The only downside is the price. Laos is a very poor country, and yet I paid almost the same price as back home... I don't get it. It's not just this place. I've been to Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, and Vientiane -- There's some serious tourist gouging skin tax going on in Laos. Cambodia was the same. The least developed countries charge the most (I've been to 7 Asian countries recently). So much for travelling cheaply...
Pros: Vegan cafe, Nice staff, Good food
Cons: Expensive

Beautiful cafe and lovely staff. Food is fresh and tasty, and the cakes are delicious. We tried Pad Thai, Tofu Larp, Masaman curry and Hummus bowl and we enjoyed all of them. Great option in Vientiane. Closed on Sunday.

Yummy healthy foods - Edit
This was recommended to us by our nine vegan friends who live here - stating this was the best cafe in Vientiane - and they weren’t wrong. Loved every meal we had here, we ate here 3 times during our stay.

Great vegan breakfast/lunch place - Edit
Lovely space to relax. Fully vegan menu. We had the oatmeal and the pancakes. Reasonably priced for a fully vegan “western” style breakfast which seems hard to find in Vientiane.

Favourite place in Vientiane - Edit
This café was my favourite place in Vientiane to wind down and have a break. The interior is quirky and spacious, the service was always friendly. I enjoyed the avocado toast as a healthy snack.

Just no... - Edit
This place served us two avocado toasts with hard, unripe avocados. The tofu scramble wasn’t much better. The best part was the raw avocado chocolate cake, but I wouldn’t go here for the food!

Fine, good food but expensive - Edit
Vegan possible, nice snacks and lunch. Also offer vegan breakfast! Only portions are very small and expensive. For coffee and vegan cake it is a good place, but not for a whole meal...

Expensive food and coffee, some good items. - Edit
The coffee was the best i had in sea so far! The coffee is just made next door and is delicious with almond milk (cappuccino). I also had a mixed smoothie, rasberry and mango. So nice and fresh. We both also enjoyed the mushroom burger. It is a light meal and definitely tasty. Add: we went back two times for breakfast and the portions were mostly very big. Bigger than we expected. The pictures on the menu are deceiving, the portions look smaller in the pictures! We ordered a smoothiebowl, scrambled tofu and the avocado toast, lentilsoup and the pancakes. The tofu was really soft and not like a scramble at all. The avocado toast was really oily. The pancakes had a strange taste, it was not fresh (is it even vegan?) and the lentilsoup is watery and has a strange after taste. The cake was to small. It is expensive, but if you do go, the smoothiebowl and coffee are worth your money and very good.

Good Menu But Expensive - Edit
Definitely on the higher price point. Nice modern cafe, good menu offerings.
Read moreMasaman curry is very tasty, comes with rice but you’ll probably still be hungry after.
Avoid the most expensive item on the menu, gluten free pasta with homemade tomato sauce - the pasta was hard, chewy, unpleasant to eat and I felt was simply undercooked, I rarely if not never complain, staff however said that was just how the pasta was and happily made me something else instead.

Cannot comment on the main meals here as didn't eat them, but did get drinks and cake here. The one vegan cake they had was nice (chocolate avo cake) but the portion was so small for the price (25k kip)
