Best vegan pizza I've ever had and lots of vegan options. Super tasty, good sourdough base and fresh tasty toppings. Came back twice during our stay in Rio as we kept thinking about the pizza after the first time.

Best Vegan Pizza Options - Edit
Currently, I think Cobre Humaitá is the pizzeria that offers the best vegan pizzas in Rio de Janeiro. Really, the options (which are several) are extraordinary. I particularly like almost all the options, especially the Vegan Margherita and the Vegan Samba. Just remembering makes your mouth water.

Cobre is located in a lively part of Humaitá, near some other restaurants and bars.
Read moreThey offer 4 vegan pizzas to choose from. All topped with cashew cheese. The pizzas are of exceptional quality, which is also due to the big wood oven they use. They have a (likely homemade) vegan pepperoni and it's absolutely fantastic.
Staff were really friendly and service was quick and uncomplicated.
I definitely recommend this place if you need some late-night food, or just to grab dinner and a drink afterwards.
