The food was amazing and the portion sizes are enormous! But the friendliness of the staff is what impressed us most. It is uncommon that you get BOTH great food AND fantastic service. The next time we are in FL we will definitely be back. They need to open another restaurant in St. Louis!!

Read moreI find the vegan food in San Francisco underwhemling when dining out. San Francisco was named top 25 vegan city in the world by 2025 Happy Cow list and the little city by the bay should send a team to Cocoa Beach where Sondra opened her restaurant in 2025.
This is her third restaurant with previous ones in DC and West Virginia. She has been cooking since age four and has her 10,000 hours like the Beatles in Hamburg. I went here with my brother and father. They loved it. I loved it.
Excellent food and vibe. My brother got breakfast plate. Father got burrito bowl. I had the tacos. Spring rolls. Took the pasta salad and potato salad home after tasting it. It tasted just like heaven like the cure.

I spent my birth-aversary there with my husband of 7 years and my 44th birthday along with my 4 friends. The food was amazing and there were so many choices! The food portions were huge and the staff was so friendly. We had some of their homemade cake and it was ridiculous how good it was. We plan to return when we are in town. Great place for vegans and vegetarians though everything is vegan and delicious. Keep this place on your radar. It is awesome!

A treasure. The service is always excellent and the owner is a star, chatting as she busily cooks multiple meals. Huge menu. Seems like nachos are the most popular item, but the sandwiches are pretty hard to beat. Lots of dessert choices. The deli stuff (bagels, cream cheese, tuna salad) are worth buying extra.

Vegan Variety & Amazing People - Edit
Coastal Vegan Grill was a very welcome addition when I was visiting family in Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach area. I thought it would be difficult to find vegan options, but this place has such an extensive menu, probably the largest I’ve ever seen at any vegan restaurant. The staff was super friendly, kind, and helpful for me and my husband’s first visit: we both enjoyed several of the choices on offer.

Nice staff, so many choices we couldn't decide. Ended up getting too much food. Tried Breakfast Slamwich and Authentic Philly Cheesesteak. Both good, but cheesesteak missing ketchup. Grab packets if you like it with the ketchup.

We ate here 2 weeks in a row. The first week we were really happy and enjoyed all of our food, especially the desserts. The second week was more disappointing. We ordered different things and it tasted mediocre. I can make Gardein and Impossible at home - when sandwiches are a big part of the menu the “meat” should be house made - especially for $15-$20 a sandwich. The most disappointing thing was that we liked the chocolate cake so much the previous week that we ordered 4 slices to go. We drove 45 minutes back to Orlando and when we went to eat our cake we realized they all had started to mold. There was no date on the cake and it was not refrigerated at the restaurant. With the Florida humidity I think the desserts should be handled differently. It didn’t feel great throwing away $20 worth of cake. The staff is very nice and we would still give it another chance in the future.

This place is a gem! Hubby and I planned dinner here and invited a couple of non-vegan eaters to join us. No one was disappointed. Our friends really enjoyed their meal and said they said they will be back. Hubby was eying the breakfast menu while waiting for dinner. Breakfast is served all day long here.

Service is great. Friendly, patient, helpful. If you don't see what you want, just ask. The Secret Menu is bigger than the regular menu. They can make and veganize just about any meal from other fast food joints.
Enjoy your meal in the quiet outdoor area in the back.

Sondra, Amy, and the staff are so friendly and genuinely happy to see their customers. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Their hoagies are giant and generously stuffed. My husband loves the pepper steak hoagie and my favorite is the veggie hoagie. The chocolate cake is so moist and the frosting is perfection. We travel from Orlando as often as possible just to visit Coastal Vegan Grill. It is well worth the drive!

Such a great 100% vegan restaurant , from the moment you hit the front door , warm greeting , they have such a verity of food, happily gave samples of deli offerings. The big macccck brought me right back , amazing. They make everything fresh there, bagels are brought in from NY , all the spreads you can think of. Fillet of fish also very good. But there is so much to try!

Food was amazing and all the ladies working there were super nice. They are very proud of everything on the menu (Rightfully So!) and it shows. Extremely generous portions. The expansive menu has to be seen to be believed - Classic American offerings and many creative options as well: Breakfast Ramen anyone? And did we mention the variety of fresh baked goods??? A deceptively small storefront hides a long beautiful open kitchen and a deli style counter, as well as a spacious patio out back. We live a few hours away, but this gem is now in our permanent rotation. Our many thanks to a wonderful staff for a delightful meal.
