Vegan coffee shop and bakery near Chatelet-Les Halles station, since 2016. Specialty is cupcakes. Serves coffee and drinks, a selection of lunch dishes including a salad, bowl, sloppy joe burger, avocado toast, grilled cheese, soup, hummus sandwich, and of course, vegan croissants and pastries. Offers breakfast Monday through Saturday. Breakfast is from 9-11am (this location's speciality is pancakes) and lunch is served till 12-3pm. On Sunday there is two brunch sittings at 11:30am and 1:30pm - reservations are recommended. Kitchen closed 11-12 pm. Open Mon-Tue 09:00-19:00, Wed 09:00-16:00, Fri-Sat 09:00-19:00, Sun 10:00-16:00.

Nous avons testé le carrot cake et le gâteau clémentine vanille. Le carrot cake était assez compact, pas très aérieux mais bon et le gâteau clémentine était très/trop fort en goût (goût de la peau de clémentine) et compact. L'endroit est petit. Pas fan de la déco assez impersonnelle. Les boissons sont assez chères (5 € pour un chai latte moyen). Le sandwich triangle était lui plutôt bon (à base d'humous de betterave). Bref pas un incontournable mais quand même ok pour certains produits. L'offre de gâteaux est assez variée. Il faudra restester d'autres gâteaux

If you are in Paris, do yourself a favour and have breakfast at Cloud Cakes. The croissants are flaky and buttery, coffee is good, cupcakes are sweet, the ginger beetroot latte is delicious and the almond croissant is TO DIE FOR. Highly recommended.

We came on a Sunday morning and the place was full. We were told that we could be seated in 15 min. We asked if we could reserve a table as we had seen a reserved sign on one of the other tables. And the place was way too small to wait in, so we wanted to take a walk and then come back. She told us it was not possible. We then asked if we could just buy the cake and coffee to go then. She then told is that the 40 something cupcakes and 3 full size cakes on display were NOT for sale. We then left empty handed.

We visited Cloud Cakes looking for some vegan croissants, good coffee, as well as a treat for our Christmas dinner, and that’s exactly what we got! The store is in a beautiful neighborhood of Paris, the shop was nice and the staff were super helpful. The first time we went we left with cappuccinos, four croissants and a black forrest bûche noel for Christmas. Everything was absolutely incredible, moist, and delicious. We went back yet again for some more croissants, and found that they have different kinds of croissants that they rotate, two kinds every day. This time they had an almond croissant which was the best I had ever had (vegan or non vegan). I recommend anyone to give Cloud Cakes a visit!

Update of my review after visiting again for Sunday brunch.
Brunch was quite good and copious, as it includes two drinks (1 cold & 1 hot), one croissant, one main plate (chickpea wrap when I visited), and a generous portion of tasty waffles.
So, we were very satisfied, and probably coming back soon again. :)
As the place is not big, I'd recommend booking a table in advance if going for the brunch.

Visited in September 2016, just a couple days after their opening.
I first saw Cloud Cakes a while ago in one of the "Vegan Place" events organized by the L214 association; and I'm glad they have now started their own cafe.
We visited during tea time, and we had the carrot cake and the red velvet cake. They also had cupcakes and croissants; and I think sometimes they offer savory snacks as well.
To be honest, I found the cakes to be too sweet for my taste, but to be fair, I think that's a normal sweetness level for Paris.
I thought also that hot drinks could be a little larger.
You order first on the counter; and then you wait at the table. The staff was friendly and they spoke English.
They do offer a set menu for lunch; excepts on Sundays, when they offer a brunch.
I'll visit again to try their food; but for the time being, I'm afraid they haven't convinced me with their sweets.

I’ve had some pretty good food here (have been there for breakfast, lunch and brunch), but they seem to need better organization. On multiple occasions I’ve arrived only to learn that they are out of all lunch options (at around 1pm, standard work lunch time in Paris) or completely out of pastries even early in the morning. Most of their staff is nice but some have been quite unfriendly. The brunch was really good when I went but a little on the expensive side.

On Sunday mornings, they offer a brunch for 25€, which is a fair price in Paris, including : a hot drink and a cold drink, a muffin, a full plate of tofu scramble and other food, and a plate of vegan pancakes. It was all very good, the staff very friendly, the place & tableware cute. I definitely recommend it!
