Not a gourmet experience, but then, pretty cheap considering the prices in Bruges.
No a la carte dining, but menu of the day.
The dish of the day comes in sizes small or normal. No problem to make the dish vegan, although that just meant some things were left out.
Wednesday & Saturday specialities on offer besides the soup and menu of the day. For example, oyster mushrooms on toast as starter.
Pros: cheap, friendly
Not worth it - Edit
This out of the way restaurant is not really worth the walk. Like most Belgian restaurants it has one main dish consisting of a protein, starch and some vegetables, an option of soup and a few desserts. To their credit, under protest they were willing to adapt the dish to accommodate a food allergy, but the food was not particularly tasty nor filling. It seemed like the locals who were about were sticking to the coffee and desserts. We wonder if we should have done the same.
Pros: vegetarian
Cons: out of the way, bland food, no english menu
