Nothing Short of Amazing!! - Edit
Prepare to leave this restaurant satisfied, their unique dishes and delicious flavor combinations are worth every penny. Their peppercorn gravy and cheesy potatoes are also out of this world if you are looking for more of a comfort food.

Delicious food! - Edit
Delicious fresh and inexpensive. I had the tofu tacos and the lentils sausage patties. Both were delicious and fresh. My favorite were the lentil sausage patties. I would definitely come back again if ever in the Cleveland area.

Make it a CV Experience! - Edit
You can pick anything you want, OR For $22 you get 3 courses from 3 columns of options, and it did not disappoint! Please try the potatoes, they were amazing! I went between breakfast and lunch so I did the brunch thing and got both sweet and savory options. I couldn’t finish everything, especially my entree, the Thai noodle bowl, so I’m excited to actually get a 2nd meal out of this! The chai tea was also delicious, and wait staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone, and I hope to get to come back sometime!

Yummy! - Edit
When traveling, I'm always looking for a good vegan spot to eat! Hubby took me here and we decided to try a few things. Out of everything we tried, the Loaded Nachos, Classic Gyro and Bagel & Carrot Lox were our faves! It was so so nice to see options on the menu that were some of my favorites prior to becoming vegan!
Read moreRated them a 4 only because 1. I tried the chocolate chip cookie and it was a bit over cooked and not very tasty 2. chocolate cupcake was okay. We were expecting the desserts to be impressive given their options.

Vegan scratch made - Edit
In Cleveland for a day visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Just west in Lakewood we found this gem for our Vegan family of four. We all ordered separate entrees and they were all great. Will come back if we make it back this way.

Love, love, LOVE this place! I’m a Cali Girl visiting an Ohio world. - Edit
I judge all vegan places on their Mac n cheese. It was great! My favorite was their Asian dumpling soup. My non vegan boyfriend ordered nachos and finished the whole plate! Which is rather large. Sweet potato hummus...WHAT?!? BOMB! Their bakery looked amazing but we were stuffed! I’m flying back this coming weekend and I’ll be back!

Lack of Omelette Care - Edit
This was my first time trying Cleveland Vegan and sadly, the food I ordered was a disappointment. The person at the counter who took my to go order was very nice. The atmosphere was lively and light filled. There isn't much privacy anywhere though and the line for the counter was adjacent to at least one of the tables floating in the middle of the space -- nothing wrong with that if you like an open feel, and don't mind people milling around near your table, but it's nice to have a choice if you'd like to eat in a quieter nook.
Read moreI ordered the vegan omelette, made from tofu (and a proprietary blend of other ingredients to create an egg-like flavor) with sauteed seasonal vegetables. The presentation was really sad. I don't believe the cook dropped the omelette on the floor, scooped it up and dumped it into the biodegradable to go container, but that's exactly what it looked like. The only way to make the presentation worse would be to stomp on the container and then give it to the customer. Apparently they don't have a to go container to accommodate an intact omelette. So why not cut it in half, lay one half on top of the other and add a nice garnish to finish it off? It just looked like they threw it across the room to one another and then the last person threw it in the air and someone held the container out to catch it. Unfortunately the flavor didn't make up for the haphazard presentation. The flavor of the sauteed vegetables was: oil. The flavor of the overcooked "egg" was: salt. And the various vegetables were not cooked to levels that bring out the gentleness of their flavors. Maybe other items on the menu are cooked and seasoned with a knowledge of how the flavors are best brought out, combined and enhanced, but the poor omelette was definitely suffering from a lack of that skill. I hate to leave a less than glowing review for a vegan restaurant, but the lack of care was just too surprising and disappointing. I hope the review will encourage those responsible to bring this deserving dish to it's full potential.

I used to love this place, but after I started venturing out more and trying new vegan places, it’s not as impressive. Tastes good usually, but last few times hurt my stomach.

So.Much.Salt - Edit
Lots of great possibilities... but way too much salt and oil. Vegan food should be setting the standard of fresh good flavor rather than following suit of the standard American restaurant experience.

Wonderful find! - Edit
Very helpful folks who even put a meal together for me based upon my cravings -- biscuits & gravy (my indulgent desires) and fresh veggies (my reasonable side). The scramble they made, complete with scrambled "eggs", was divine. I returned the next day for more, and took food to go. Was always busy but plenty of room for all. Hope I get to visit again soon! (Alas, was on a work trip.)

Keep up the GREAT work - Edit
I couldn't wait for pizza night, as I am a lover of pizza, but limited in vegan choices bc of cheese. I ordered the spinach pizza and calzone. Both were phenomenal. I was afraid that they would be small, but they were a very nice size. I have also had the gyro. Also excellent. The staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating. They were willing to take extra steps to ensure satisfaction.

Fantastic except for Pizza Nights - Edit
I would give this restaurant 5 stars because they have an amazing menu of yummy vegan food with lots of choices; however, sometimes they have Pizza Nights when they serve nothing but pizza and their pizza isn't very good. I try to remember to call ahead and if it is Pizza Night I go somewhere else, but sometimes I forget and I am seriously disappointed.
Read moreNormally food is fantastic, service is good, the restaurant is clean, and prices are reasonable for a vegan place.
I love the breakfast lox bagel sandwich (lox made from marinated carrots?! Awesome! Although the bagel itself is pretty lame compared to a Bruegger's bagel). The Classic Gyro is also fantastic.
The peanut butter cookie is possibly the best I've ever had. The coffee and milkshakes are also pretty good.
Pros: Large menu with lots of variety, High quality tastey food, Great deserts
Cons: Surprise! Different and not good menu some days

Great food - Edit
Went there for the first time this past Friday and it was extremely busy! I went based on a recommendation from a local vegan since I was not from the area and the food was delicious! The seating area is very nicely decorated. The only issue was that since they were so unusually busy (special pizza night), the kitchen lost our order, so we ended up waiting alot longer than some of the other patrons but, they righted the situation and if I am in the area again, I will go back.

ah mazing - Edit
I am from a very non vegan friendly area, and traveling to Cleveland and finding this spot was just - ah! I was so excited.bIt's mostly breakfast food too, which is my favorite!! I got 3 things for $21. It was all good and the only complaint I have is that the menu boasts crispy shiitake bacon, but it was just regular sauted cremini mushrooms. That was a little disappointing, but if I'm ever in the area again I definitely want to go back and try more! Our waitress was very sweet.

They have a menu split into 3 seperate menus and you can pick one from each menu for $21!! So we did this and it worked perfectly for two people. It took a while for the food to be served but there were so many options!! I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The decorations are cute too.

The menu has something for everyone. We enjoyed the Buffalo Cauliflower dip with cucumbers and pita bread, the cheesy potato cakes and the Gyro. They were delicious. We purchased some desserts to enjoy on our road trip home. You will be pleasantly surprised!
