Pleasantly surprised

They had several options on the menu. The falafel was great but needed something since it was missing the tzatziki to make it vegan. Mushroom dumplings were 10/10 and if you ask them they will make the Thai Peanut noodle dish vegan (they won’t mix Alfredo in peanut sauce) which was a great accommodation and was delicious!

Pros: Their willingness to accommodate, The options

Cons: No vegan sauce for falafel

Food was good

Only 2 vegan options here. if you order the plant based burger, order w no bun as it is not vegan friendly. Avocado toast was good w the potatoes.

I only come here because my grandma likes it

The only entree you can get vegan is a beyond burger on lettuce instead of a bun (all of their bread has egg in it i was told). Aside from that the atmosphere is good, nice outside dining, good beer selection, and friendly staff. I like this place better than most of my stubborn grandmother's other favorites like Outback steakhouse.

Edit: apparently they have veg curry and a quinoa bowl (gotta remove cheese) too. Bumping up to 3 stars.

Cute dinner date

This place was cute and has live music every night. There are a few vegan options and are willing to work with you. If you are out and about and want something for everyone I suggest this.

Pros: Has a few vegan and vegetarian options., Service was great, Atmosphere was nice

Cons: Wish they had one more vegan opinion

Very few options

Came for breakfast, even the avocado toast is on Texas toast. Got fruit and a mimosa. Not really ideal but my omnivore friends seemed happy with their meals

Not many options

Literally the only thing you can get that's vegan is a salad, and even those have cheese/eggs that you can omit. Even the rice is cooked in butter so that's not an option either. With that being said though, the cobb salad without the nonvegan toppings was tasty! But this restaurant really was not a great place to go if you don't want a modded salad, it felt very limiting and I feel that eating vegan here with such little options feeds the misconception to outsiders that veganism is a restrictive lifestyle.

Good option in Clearwater

Clear Sky does provide vegetarian options and they do deserve to be feature on Happy cow. They do offer vegetarian options. If you want a fully vegan option then you can order the beyond burger wrapped on lettuce instead of a bun. It is all about creativity and customized the menu to your need 🥰

Pros: Good options

Cons: Service

Very few vegan options

This restaurant really shouldn’t be on Happy Cow, per my experience. They DO have the Beyond Burger, but really no egg-free buns/bread (most burgers/sandwiches are served on brioche). Our server was very nice, but said they have very few vegan options (and didn’t offer recommendations). I had the mushroom dumplings and bruschetta (sans cheese). For the latter, there was a wait, as apparently the cheese is pre-mixed in, so the chef had to recreate it. I appreciate them doing this, but ultimately, $19 for five dumplings and two pieces of bruschetta was not what I was expecting for a restaurant on this site.

Pros: Very nice staff

Cons: Lacking in vegan options
