We stayed at the hotel (they made us vegan breakfast) and also had dinner here a few times. The vegan lasagna was the best I ever had. The italian cook worked in 4 vegan restaurants in Europe before.

After reading reviews I was expecting great pizza. The pizza wasn't anything special and barely had any topings. Given the price, certainly not worth it.

Read moreOn my first visit I had the bruschetta which was great and vegan, I had the vegan pizza also great. Then I ordered the ‘vegan semi freddo’ dessert and I thought it was epic I couldn’t believe it was vegan!
The second night I created my own vegan pizza which is a nice option that you can do. Then I ordered the vegan semi freddo for dessert again.
But when dessert arrived and it looked different than the night before. This one was brown, the one I had the night before was white. So I asked the waitress if there was a mistake if I’d be given the wrong dessert but she said no it is the one (the vegan semi freddo). So I asked her why the one I had last night was a different colour. She told me that was the regular semi freddo that I was given the night before, not the vegan one that I had ordered.
So the night before I had eaten a dessert which contained either dairy or eggs and the manager wasn’t there at the time for me to speak to. The waitress was nice but she didn’t really realise the severity of the issue. There are vegans who would have had a really bad reaction if that had happened to them or it people who are allergic to dairy/eggs could be ordering vegan food without saying anything about their allergy.
The food was really good I really recommend it and all of the vegan items are on the menu are clearly listed as vegan so if you go just make sure you’re clear and that you have the right order. Also if you order the vegan semi freddo for dessert make sure it is brown! The white one is not vegan.
Pros: Vegan options for starter, main, and dessert, Great pizza, Everything tasted great
Cons: I ordered a vegan dessert and was given a , non-vegan one, which I ate and didn’t find out , until the next day

Nice location, friendly staff. went there for coffe unfortunately they did not have milk for vegans.. not even coconut! We only had a bruscetta which tastend good, homemade bread. We shared it and asked for extra little plates. Those were made of plastic, which is - in my eyes - not acceptable, especially if the owners come from Europe..

Amazing vegan Pizza - Edit
We went there twice and really enjoyed the bruschetta, pizza and the ice teas. The staff is really friendly. We had little chat with the owner which was nice too. Really nice Italian atmosphere and good music. Must try the chili oil.

They have a fully vegan pizza with tempeh and lots og vegetables. It was really good and definitely the best pizza on the island. Came with chili oil om the side, which made it even better. The pizza costs 95k with tax included. I recommend this place!

We walked past the restaurant around 4 pm and had a nice chat with the pizza baker (owner). It was one reason why we decided to go there later.
Read moreWhen we arrived, we were welcomed and a server showed us out seats and presented the carte. The Ambiente is amazing in this place. We ordered and less than 20min later the pizzas came. It's hard to find a word to describe the taste. Tasty, delicious or excellent?
Anyway, when we finished our pizza the wife of the owner came, asked if we liked it and took her time to chat about the food preparation and gave us more recommendations for the island.
I recommend to reserve beforehand and to come in early / ask to order in advance. The wife told us that July is a really busy month. Plan ahead!
We ordered around 8:30 pm and they had no Bruschetta left. Everything is prepared on the same day - fresh bread and dough - and when they run out of something it's not available anymore.
Pros: Wonderful Ambiente, Tasteful food, Helpful staff
Cons: Quite expensive, No Bruschetta after 8ish, No vegan desert

They have a great vegan pizza on the menu - it was a tomato base with grilled Aubergine, mushroom, Tempe and olives. It was very tasty and a large portion. At 95,000 IDR it was pricey but at the same time it was so good and such a change from the other food we had been eating that we were happy to pay more. I intend to eat her again before we leave! I recommend

Yummy vegan Pizza but expensive - Edit
After eating a lot of (vegan) indonesian food, we were happy to found this place. They have a vegan pizza in the menue which is very delicious. Go there early because you probably have to wait some minutes to get a free table. Its expensive (almoust european prices), but worth it.

The ambiente of this restaurant feels like being in Italy. The owner decorated everything there peacefully inculding masks of Carneval of Venice. You can sit 'indoor' or in the garden. We ate delicious wood-oven pizza (there's one vegan pizza in the menu) and bruschetta. On the vegan pizza you can add more ingredients. After dinner you can order a orgin coffee made with a classic Bilaetti coffee pot. They have as well refreshing lemonade. Please be advised that a reservation is recommended, otherwise you have to wait in a queue up to 40' or longer.

Delicious Italian Food - Edit
I stumbled upon this place and was so excited to see proper Italian pizza and a vegan option right on the menu. The Vegana has a mix of tofu, mushrooms, olives, tomato, and aubergine and comes topped with fresh basil. You can also create your own pizza with any of the veggies from the menu. This place could only be better if they added a vegan dessert.
