Whole little case of vegan options and a vegan soft serve machine, everything we tried was really good. They also label what the ice cream base is, which is helpful for anyone with allergies or sensitivities. Kind staff too.

Delicious Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
The soft serve machine was broken which was a bummer but the hard serve ice cream more than made up for it. I got the chocolate hazelnut and oreo ice cream and it was so creamy and delicious, even on a rainy day!

We were a little disheartened bc the foreign woman helping us was not very friendly and seemed irritated helping us. The ice cream looked a little old but we promised the kids and ordered it anyways. Luckily it tasted better than it looked and we wound up really liking it. The man working seemed a lot friendlier and happier.

Read moreThe bad: I got a vanilla blueberry soy-based ice cream since I have an almond allergy, and I thought it was pretty bad. It reminded me of vegan ice cream in early 2000s (i.e., I'm expecting way better now in 2022) -- not much flavor, really off-putting aftertaste, icy texture. I seem to be in the minority here, based on the reviews, and maybe it's because I got a soy-based ice cream.

There’s a whole section of about 8-10 nondairy options in the far case. Almond milk and soy. Had the lemon sorbet which was amazing, as well as the vanilla Oreo.

It was such a treat to get vegan soft serve and eat it in the Village Green in Bar Harbor. I got the chocolate and vanilla swirl, but they also had blueberry and vanilla swirl the day we visited.

Took my partner here while on our hiking trip. It was nice to see how many options they had, we almost couldn't decide. Everything was ordered was delicious; we would have gone there every day if we could have.

Adorable ice cream shop! They have a dedicated Soft Serve machine with Almond Milk Chocolate and Vanilla - Swirl available! They also have a dedicated vegan cooler filled with 6 vegan Ice cream flavors with both almond milk and soy milk based ice cream along with 3 sorbet flavors. The Ice cream was smooth and delicious! The best in Bar Harbor!

Staff was a little less organized than the other two ice cream shoppes nearby and store is cash only. However, their vegan milkshake (vegan soft serve and soy milk) was generously sized (enough for two to split) and they had several interesting flavors of sorbets AND non dairy ice cream at the very far end. I only tried the maple walnut, which was very good. It was creamy like ice cream but not quite as flavorful as I thought the maple should be. I will definitely return to try their other flavors of scoopable non dairy ice cream. I’m not a fan of soft serve but they do have vanilla, chocolate and swirl if that is your thing.

Favorite ice cream in bar harbor and possibly the best tasting vegan vanilla ice cream ever...?! Really smooth and creamy with interesting flavors like peanut butter, maple pecan, blueberry swirl(tasted like blueberry cheese cake). Soft serve isn't worth it - get the handdips!
