Great Vegan Options - Edit
Always enjoy the food and great service here. Our server, Paula, was friendly and helpful. The bartender, Dylan, recommended some great drinks and appetizers. We love the casual, hip feeling and always enjoy trying new vegan dishes. A definite place to return to often.

Incredible faux - Edit
Seitan buffalo wings app was immaculate, cooked to crisp exterior inside was a clean bite through, moist and very meat-like. My table mates thought it was a bit too spicy, but I was way into it. The ranch is drool worthy.
Read moreChkn n waffles half order was perfect size for me. Unreal how well they get the fried layer on the exterior of the cauliflower. Waffles are my go-to breakfast food and these are brilliant. You can cut with the edge of your fork and they are crisp enough to stay crunchy even with syrup on top.
No notes, flawless victory.

bomb veg place - Edit
this was one of my top reasons for coming to denver and i ended up going twice. first time i went for lunch and got the buffalo chicken wrap. seitan was perfect. the next time i went for breakfast and got the chorizo hash. oml one of the best breakfasts ever. was a little salty but still so good. i loves that even though they had eggs everything else was still vegan, always reassuring to know😄only negative is that both times i went they didn’t have their cinnamon rolls 🥲

Buffalo Mac wrap and ravioli - Edit
I got takeout here twice while in Denver and found it hit or miss. The Buffalo Mac wrap and fried ravioli were my favorites and quite delicious! The pizza was off…I had the mozzarella and ricotta and one of them was way too salty. Which I never say as I love salt. Maybe just an off day. The breakfast burrito was very disappointing and I didn’t finish it. Mainly a bunch of tofu and potatoes that lacked flavor. I added avocado but it didn’t help. Mac and cheese was okay. The cheese sauce wasn’t cheesy, it was very coconutty, but I loved it for what it was. I’d eat here again but probably stick to the two things I liked and be cautious about branching out as the quality varied widely between menu items.
Read moreThere is a hefty “service charge” as others have noted, which makes this place pretty expensive. On top of that they ask for a tip. Then when you pick up your food and check out there’s a place for a second tip! Pretty ridiculous.

Pros: Extensive menu , Open late
Cons: Hit or miss , Hefty service charge plus multiple tip requests , Inaccurate pickup times (my food was 30 min late)

So f***ing good - Edit
Yum! I only had one thing there and I can already tell everything else is probably amazing. This is my first time having chicken and waffles 🤯
Read moreIt was divine. I got the half portion which is still a lot of food. It was $7 for exactly half so you could get a half size and if you’re still hungry, get another one and it comes out to the same price as the full meal ($14). Perfect! I only needed the half.
The artwork is super sweet too, with a grungy vibe, especially in the restrooms, which is a joy to see so much art.
Must try!
Pros: Delicious , Awesome staff, Different foods you can’t find anywhere else
Cons: Maybe finding parking but that’s not on them.

Amazing! - Edit
We had the taquitos, poutine, ravioli, and adobo tacos. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the pesto dipping sauce for the ravioli, but my partner loved the taquitos best. The ravioli was a mutual second place! We happened to go during happy hour, so all of the above items were discounted.

The breakfast burrito was huge! Loaded with beans, potatoes, scrambled tofu and kale it was so filling. I got it topped with the green chili sauce and it was incredible! It hit the spot for breakfast after a late night concert.

Fantastic - Edit
The food is good, the people are cool and friendly. I think the atmosphere of the place is really nice took. I used to enjoy always getting the BBQ Mac or Buffalo wrap, but then they got a kebab option that I’ve always wanted to have vegan. It’s always a refreshing experience to eat here and having a place to have friends and family come visit is definitely a plus.

A Denver institution - Edit
I knew my first night in Denver had to be spent here, and it didn't disappoint. It's a dive bar vibe with comfort food. I opted for a few small plates, but the portions were actually generous. The dishes, like the ravioli and wings, weren't quite what I expected, but it didn't stop me from eating every last bite.

Delicious Seitan - Edit
Popped over for lunch on a lazy Sunday. Not used to having so many vegan options, was hard to decide! Ended up getting bbq seitan wrap (decadent with Mac and cheese!) and my partner got the buff wrap, and we each ate half of each wrap. They were both so good, and we agreed that the seitan was the standout in both dishes. It’s just so fluffy and yummy, was tempted to ask how they make it! We will certainly be back, lots of the menu still to explore!

Waffles - Edit
I had the buff wrap with a side of Mac and cheese. When the server heard that I’d never had waffles, they snuck me a quarter over. Waffle was amazing, super fluffy and light and crispy. Wrap was good, Mac and cheese a little too coconutty for me but still yum.

Soo goood! - Edit
City-o-city has an almost entirely vegan menu and everything is amazing. I have never been to a restaurant with better seitan!
Read moreThat said... The service charge is ridiculous, their is a 20% service fee that goes to everyone working (including boh) to 'pay a living wage.' I'm all for fair pay, but this encourages people to tip less and makes everything on the menu look cheaper than it actually is. Please just raise all your prices and increase your employees wages. This current system is predatory to customers and employees.
