Read moreI ordered a pulled shroom burger and roasted cauliflower sidedish. The mushrooms were very soft and marinated in a good BBQ-sauce, the bun was crunchy and it was nice that they had some not-so-standard toppings on the burger just as pickled red onion, pumpkinseeds and pomegranate seeds. This was really a good combination!
The roasted cauliflower still had a crunchy bite, which was a good choice opposite the (swollen) raisins and red beet.

We had a great time at Circus restaurant! The menu was probably 60% vegan 40% vegetarian, so lots of options to choose from.
Read moreEnded up getting a tofu scramble which always goes down brilliantly, and some sort of a deconstructed pulled mushroom burger which was a daily special. Both were very new and fresh tasting. We also got a hot spiced apple juice which was very gingery (I ain’t complainin) and a hot chocolate which the lovely staff confirmed was vegan. They also came with cookies similar to biscoff which were also confirmed vegan
I got the feeling that the woman who talked to us was also vegan - which you love to see at a non vegan place.
In the end the downfall of Circus was the price (quite expensive) and the fact that it’s not all vegan.

Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in the outside terrace. Inside area also had a nice ambiance. Very friendly and helpful staff! English menu available digitally.
Read moreThe food was delicious and well-prepared, but somehow slightly too healthy-seeming for me (hence the 4 stars). I like a bit more sugar in my juice and cakes! If you’re looking for wholesome food this seems like a perfect spot though.

My favourite restaurant in Antwerp! I have tried several dishes and everything is delicious. Seasonal vegetables, organic and healthy! The pulled shroom bun is my go to. They can also make everything gluten free which is fantastic.

What a great place. It’s very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the vegan ceasar salad and it was very filling. Friendly staff. Will definitely stop again! They love design and art and it reflects in the restaurant.

I’m indecisive so I love places that offer a few different items off the breakfast menu. I had the “acrobat in shape” which had the granola with yoghurt (you need to ask for vegan yoghurt), banana nut bread and bread with a beetroot spread. It also came with a juice. I liked all of the items on the menu and I was glad I was able to try all of them. It was a good sized portion of everything. The coffee was nice too as were the staff. I like it when places advertise they do breakfast and actually open at a reasonable hour for breakfast too!

This cafe seems to be packed all the time. If possible, make a reservation. The prices may seem pretty high, however you do get a lot of food for your money. It is definitely worth it! Even though the cafe is not 100% vegan, the options they have are very interesting and really good. A foodie cannot miss out on this place.
