Beautiful restaurant, great vibes, mixed opinion on the food

To start off, circle 69 is very aestheic with great artwork, light fixtures, wallpapers in rich earthy tones and greenery. It is an intimate restaurant and also hosts pop-ups of clothing, home decor etc. Nice to take a look and stroll around after lunch. Coming to the actual dining experience - we tried the eggplant brulee, roasted cauliflower, sun dried tomato, pesto flatbread and spritz cocktail. The cocktail was their own take on the classic aeperol spritx and it was very refreshing (althoguh very pricey). Now, coming to the food, we had mixed opinions. The eggplant brulee portion was extremely small, with 4 measly slices of toast. It looked beautiful, but didn't taste as good. My friends found the roasted cauliflower main (can be veganised) a bit dry, and similar to our indian version of gobi. They expected a different flavour profile, considering the description included chimichurri and other spice rubs. The flatbread was a pizza (non vegan) with good accompaniments like confit garlic, pesto, and a tomatoey jam.

I've heard great reviews of the food at circle 69, so will give it another try.

Overall, it's a great place for drinks, coffee, and to experiment with food if you feel like it.
