Not as good as it used to be

This is one of the oldest vegan places (at least that I've known of my almost 7 years being vegan) in Cuernavaca and they have a special place in my heart because I used to love their restaurant when they were located in the center of the city. However, I don't know if their administration has changed, but I don't think their food is as tasty as it used to be. Being honest, back then there were a lot of things to improve too. They have their good dishes, some better than others. I don't like their pizzas, I don't think their combinations are tasty or even go well together, there's way too much different flavors happening and it's overall not their strong suit. One of the last times I was there the portions are smaller than I remembered. Their chocolate cake it was actually not as delicious to me as a lot of people have mentioned? It tasted like it was made with water instead of a plant based milk (or a way too much diluted plant based milk) and the frosting was nice but not fluffy or voluminous. Gotta give it to 'em, some of their star dishes imo are their enchiladas verdes and hotcakes with whipped cream and strawberries. Oh my god, sooo good. Those hotcakes are probably the best I've had in my entire life, no joke. They're like magic or something. But okay, they can save themselves for that. What I can't tolerate is their staff. They're SO RUDE for no reason like, all the times I've tried contacting them via WhatsApp, almost like if they didn't want to sell you at all. That stopped me from buying the pre-ordered vegan supplies you can get from them, like yogurt or cheese made from different nuts. And don't even get me started on the staff in person. There's been one guy that's been there for a while now and he constantly was misgendering me despite me correcting him several times. I felt so bad my boyfriend and I had to go. And the worst part, their new location. Oh my god, it's SO HARD and tricky to get there, despite public transport passing there. They don't even deliver to my location which makes it impossible for me to buy from them unless I go in person, which is again, not a pleasant experience at all. I really loved this place, I really did, but I don't think the good aspects compensate all the bad ones and after my last experience, I don't think I'm ever coming back.

Pros: all vegan, some of their star dishes

Cons: unaccessible location unless u have a car, rude and transphobic staff, not good flavor combinations

Great vegan food

We ordered the alambres volcan, empananditas pastor and the banderillas and shared. All was very tasty, especially the pastor filling and the alambres. I had read some online reviews saying it was slow, but it was fine when we were there. I would definitely recommend the dishes we had and this restaurant.

very friendly staff, super delicious traditional mexican food

Went twice, it's dreamy! big menue, a lot of traditional mexican food. Some with selfmade lentil pattys, some dishes with fake meat.

Pros: all vegan, homemade desserts, outdoor seats

Cons: serves beer, no other alcoholic drinks, not so many seats, ok for groups of max.4

SOOO YUMMY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What a great experience and wonderful food!!! Wish I could have gone back more than once. We were in Jiutepec, Morelos, MX for a wedding and there was NOTHING for us to eat other than at the actual wedding, so we ventured 30 minutes out to Cinnamon Veggie for brunch and were so happy we did! I got a garbanzo omelette, which I have never had and it was amazing! My husband had an El Pastor torta and it was also so delicious! The coffee and green juice was yummy too. It was so nice to have something other than fajita veggies, nopales, beans and tortillas which we had almost daily for most of our trip. Thank you Cinnamon for such a great meal! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Pros: Lots of great options, especially breakfast!, All or food was so yummy!, Friendly, fast service for small staff

Vegan heaven

We had a burger and a couple platos típicos (traditional Mexican plates) that I haven’t had in years and everything was amazing! The flavors are perfect and the ingredients are fresh.
They have an entire vegan menu that makes it difficult to choose what you want. Breakfast items are among those. Lots of drink options, including smoothies, teas, juices, and house made kombuchas, which are delicious, I had the seasonal ponche flavor. Also, a handful of dessert items, we had the key lime pie and it was so good! More of a cake, but super good, not overly sweet, and moist.

Overall, a great spot for whatever plant-based food items you’re craving. Highly recommend.

Pros: Entire vegan menu, Outdoor seating, Public restroom

Cons: Busy, so be prepared to wait a little

Not overly impressed

We tried the tamale verde which was excellent. However we expected more of the Alhambra and the nacho's. The ingredients didn't feel fresh (e.g.: olives out of a can, hard potatoes, a weird cold sausage). The waitress, however was very friendly. Moreover, the seitan was quite tasty.

Pros: Many options, Friendly staff

Cons: Ingredients didn't seem fresh, Cold nacho's

Did not even know what to order

All vegan small restaurant, with a very wide menu, pizzas, tacos, burgers, salads, deserts. Also deserts to take away. It was hard to decide having so many dishes, and they were all delicious. The best was the alambres and the deserts.

Hidden gem in Cuernavaca

Amazing place, love that it’s all vegan and I don’t have to guess whether I’ll get a surprise milk ingredient. They also sell products, such as sour cream, meats, cheeses - you have to order these in advance though.

Pros: Lots of options, very affordable , Amazing sour cream, Friendly service

Cons: NONE!
