Ooey gooey vegan goodness - Edit
Popped in here on a whim. I was visiting San Diego for the first time and was surprised to see an all-vegan dessert shop on the map in this beachy area. Cinnaholic didn't disappoint! I just got the basic Old Skool cinnamon bun with regular vanilla frosting or whatever it is. The bun was fresh and soft, the frosting perfectly melty. Sweet, buttery, delicious. I've never had a vegan pastry this good. It reminded me of gorging on cinnamon rolls back in my omnivorous days, which was a nice nostalgic feeling. All the sweetness without the guilt. Next time I'd want to try the cream cheese frosting. Oh yeah, and they have coffee/espresso drinks. So make a coffee & dessert date out of your visit!
Pros: entirely vegan shop, lots of toppings and frosting options, not too busy
Cons: too many single-use paper and throwaway items, too many choices of frosting flavors
