Cigköftem

I came here with someone who spoke turkish and they translated that only one of the dishes was vegan: the kofte. I am not a fan of this dish. The spicy is way too spicy and the pate itself is kind of acrid. Very cheap for a wrap on the go but i was disappointed upon coming here. I had much better food at of the many cafeterias. The server did not speak english.

This small restaurant is very simple. However, their food was really good and tasty. The menu was quite simple with just 4-5 items and the staff didn't really speak much English at all. But they were really friendly and gave us some food to taste. Me and my brother purchased the Set-4 which we later realised was perhaps for 4 people since it last us for 2 meals. I would definitely recommend this place for vegan lovers and the food is fresh, healthy and tasty.

Cigkoftem is surprisingly good. They menu is simple, with only 3-4 options, but everything is great. Fresh flavors, well balanced, filling but not too heavy, and very affordable.

The staff were very friendly, with nice smiles, and though the two who helped me spoke only a few words of English, they were very helpful and everything was clear and easy. It was clear that they care about their customers and want us to be happy.

There's both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area providing a sidewalk-café ambiance, great for people-watching.

If you're near the Aksaray area (or in Sultanahmet and disappointed with the options there), Cigkoftem is a great choice.

From the Sultanahmet area, just hop on the tram and get off at Aksaray and keep walking a few blocks west.

Delicious vegan kofte with fresh parsley, mint and cucumbers. Can be ordered spicy or not. At 3.50 lira, this is a great place for an inexpensive snack or light meal. Staff were very friendly.
