Loving the new location! - Edit
I have been a longtime fan of Cider Press since it was raw and located on central Ave! I have seen them evolve and grow through the years and I am very proud of them. It’s hard to leave a heavily foot traffic area and start somewhere not as happening…yet!
Read moreWith changing locations there comes some challenges in also trying new ideas. As we all know from our own life lessons, there’s always going to be some trials and errors. It happens! We weren’t a fan of the QR code ordering but it was attempt at something different, that honestly probably becomes popular in the future. Haha
We have been here for brunch, lunch and dinner. All have been enjoyable and relaxing. We’ve done quick, in and out, dining to “let’s hang for a couple hours.” The team is always so friendly and welcoming!
Today we came for a post-hike sit and hang dinner. As always, an adult beverage is my reward. I was so excited to see they had a wine called, Proud Pour, that is vegan friendly and supports amazing causes! From land to sea, corals to bees! Paired well with the Pub Pizza and Lentil Shepherd’s Pie. My husband enjoyed his Guinness with one of their newest menu items, Chik’n Katsu Sando sammie. So. Dang. Delicious!
It’s now more than ever that we need to support our wonderful vegan restaurants! I know not everything is for everyone but let’s focus on the efforts given to supply us with tasty options where they do the cooking and clean up😉

Awesome pub fare and more - Edit
This place has a nice, neighborhood vibe, and the food is great! Lots of pub favorites available (fish & chips, shepherds pie, excellent burgers), as well as some really tasty originals, like the jambalaya balls and my new favorite: the chicken katsu sando (trust me!).
Read moreI always get great service sitting at the bar. House cocktails are solid, and there’s a good beer, cider, wine, and NA selection, several brands of which directly benefit animals.
Pros: Great food, Friendly neighborhood pub vibe

Cool new concept and location - Edit
Cider Press opened in a new location in late 2022 as a vegan gastropub. Food is still top notch. Definitely try the buffalo Mac and cheese. Brunch is served every weekend and they have the best Dennys-style Grand Slam breakfast plate I’ve ever had with pancakes, just egg, sausage and home style potatoes.

Nice place - Edit
Nice indoor/outdoor seating, staff is friendly, I can’t say the food was “amazing” but it was good, they have clearly put an effort into their new place, looks great!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice plant based restaurant/bar.

Delicious and hit the spot - Edit
The food was phenomenal, staff was friendly. The soup, chickn taco, and Mac n cheeze could have passed at any non vegan restaurant without a second thought.

Great Menu - Edit
Food is delicious. We love the variety. They have menu options that you don’t normally find. One example is fish and chips. The fish is made from banana blossoms and is one of my favorites. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Great all vegan restaurant and bar - Edit
Great service and very friendly staff. The ordering system is also efficient. The shrimp sandwich was great, unfortunately the buffalo Chicken and mac and cheese was lacking flavour imo. I'd definitely come back again and try other dishes though.

Delicious Cajun Style - Edit
I loved the work team here-- very friendly and welcoming. Owners studied in Louisiana and the authenticity of flavors shines. Everything is vegan. I had never tried etouffe before and loved having the opportunity. The chili cheese fries were my favorite. Their chili is delicious.

Nice vibe - Edit
Food was really good. The jambalaya balls were delicious, not as spicy as advertised but very good. The fish and chips made out of banana blossom were good, oily but it's fish and chips after all. The restaurant vibe was very nice, chill. The employees were very friendly, checking on us politely. I recommend for it being entirely vegan. The other options on the menu looked great. Will return and try them. Desert was delicious. The passion brownie was our preferred. The apple crumble could use a bit more of the crumbles but was very good too

I love fully vegan restaurants, so many options and really delicious, I had the bang bang scrimps and the lentil Shepards pie, both very tasty, but I did add salt and pepper to the pie. Pictures taken after I poured the sauce on the scrimps and spread out the mashed potatoes

Not good - Edit
The shepherds pie was like matzoh balls with Velveeta cheese and lentils. The salad was like some iceberg lettuce with maybe two cherry tomatoes cut up and some fried onions which I removed. Those were the only gluten-free options. Not many options at all on the menu but it is new, so I’ll give them that, the host was nice and the atmosphere was nice. I do prefer real menus and servers.

Umm………..YES????!!!! - Edit
I was blown away!!!!!! I took my non-vegan family here and was excited that they loved the food too. Our server answered our many questions happily and recommended great drinks. It’s nice to find a vegan restaurant that doesn’t exclusively sell “health” food. If I had the funds, I would eat here every day—it’s that good.
