I had heard about this place before but I have visited it by chance. I ordered pierogi with lentils (vegan option) and it was a really good choice. Actually the dish was quite similar to pierogi with meat so if it wasn't a vegetarian place I would be a bit confused. I sometimes miss the umami taste so I was really happy with my choice. You can be sure that you don't need anything more after a plate of pierogi!

There is a place with food inspired by homemade Polish cushine and milk bars, but more aesthic and well-spiced. Portions are really big. Especially I like breadcrumbs, that one was so crisp and better than one with eggs, but who don't like breadcrumbs? 😉 The best yerba mate drink Bombilla is also available

Amazing place - Edit
The place is very cosy, the staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing, with big portions. The favorite is stroganoff, served with actual meat substitute. Costs only 15zl. They don’t use plactic plates anymore either. Doesn’t take card however.

First evening in Poznan - Edit
We found this restaurant extremely near to our hotel in Poznan, when we arrived. We got enthused from the very tasty food , very cheap and the friendly lady who served us. Though she was not speaking English we found the way to communicate and to have an unforgettable dinner in our first evening in Poznan. I recommend it positively!

Honest Polish food - Edit
The very friendly owners don't speak English, but fear not: They understand the word "vegan" and will happily point out everything that's suitable. The lentil-filled pierogi were mildly-flavoured, huge and topped with fried onions. Maybe not the most exciting food, but homemade and worth supporting. The only downside: The food is served on plastic plates.
