Relish the experience - Edit
Chutney was just a short walk from our hotel so we visited twice during our stay and relished the food on both occasions. On our first visit we ordered the tsayspett (150 SEK) and grillmix (160 SEK) alongside a glass of red vino (70 SEK). The tsayspett, which was marinated tofu, sweet potato wedges, grilled vegetables, avocado, garlic cream and salad was delicious, as was the grillmix, which consisted of perfectly cooked skewered tofu with wedges, salad and dips. For dessert we got the fantastic snickers cake and a raw coconut and chocolate slice, which were devoured in no time at all. Service was quick and the atmosphere was great. On our second visit we ordered two specials that were curry and rice and peanut sauce and rice (105 SEK). Salad and bread was self service so we filled our plates up a few times before washing it down with an excellent selection of flavoured waters and a vegan golden ale (52 SEK). The staff and the ambience was excellent especially if you happen to visit on the evening where this area is buzzing.

Super tasty and fresh. - Edit
17 year vegan and I can vouch that this place is great. Friendly staff, very central, normal price, Portions were huge if you like thaat super good mayonaise and vegan cheeses. The dessets were great as well, just make sure to ask which are vegan most are clearly labeled though. Also make sure to ask vegan option because it's vegetarian. The atmosphere is great there I'd go back 100%

Standing customer - Edit
Maybe not the best vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Stockholm but it's good enough for me to be a standing customer. Fair prices and you don't need to go hungry from there. They serve tasty vegan raw cakes. Nice atmosphere, located in the hipster-district of söder.

Ok burgers - Edit
This place A la carté menu have when of the best vegan burgers in town (if you then eat this and think it's not that good. Yeah I know, the competition is real low).
Read moreBut let go to the start, there is a few treats to get here, there also is the daily menu which is quite expensive but let you refill. A good option for lunch if you work in this area.
Later on the A La Carté menu is added, this gives the burger and few other things, still expensive but as I said the burger is good, as is the "grill-mix" (mixed-barbacue)..
The food is okey, the ambience is I don't know, and it often fills up so booking might be a good idea, especially if you are a bigger group (if you are not be ready to sit tight and close to strangers)
The selection of non-alcoholic drinks is also quite good, and it is central
Pros: Refills on the special dishes, Close to subway
Cons: Expensive

Vegetarian Heaven in Stockholm - Edit
Our family found this vegetarian gem on Happy Cow, and it turned out to be our favorite vegetarian restaurant in all of Stockholm. Chutney is a large cafe that also serves an extensive vegetarian menu, including daily specials. There are small tables set up outside on the sidewalk, though we chose to sit indoors due to the beautiful lighting and ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered off the regular menu, choosing two salad dishes that came with boiled potatoes and one had three different types of tofu (delicious!) and the other had quorn. We also ordered some cannelloni in tomato sauce. The portions are huge and we could not finish our 3 bowls. They are a cafe so they also offer coffee and tea and make an excellent chai latte. Note that it says they are open until 10 though the kitchen closes promptly at 9 pm. Also, despite their name they do not serve Indian food. You MUST sample one of their vegan/raw desserts before you leave. Highly recommend one or multiple visits.

Excellent value for money - Edit
We went to this place around lunchtime (1:30pm) and the place was busy but not full (luckily). We ordered one daily suggestion and one halloumi salad for around 250 SEK in total (flavored water, tea/coffee, salad and date bread/crackers included). The salad was self-service and after we finished this, our dishes were quickly brought to the table. The portions were very large, both of us were not able to eat it all. The salad included four big pieces of halloumi, a Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki, a piece of garlic bread and couscous. The daily that my partner ordered consisted of soy 'meat' balls and puree and we were told that we were entitled to a free second serving of the soy balls because it was a smaller portion (which, in our view, it wasn't). Both dishes were delicious and filling, we weren't hungry until 20:00pm (even though we didn't finish our plates).

Good vegan dishes, friendly, cheap, open late - Edit
Our last hope when we were looking for something vegan nearby around 8:30pm, and happy with the choice. Very cheap (for being in Sweden), and we could even get a second portion for free. Staff is very friendly and the vegan-friendly food is clearly indicated.

A lot of food for the money - Edit
Went there spontaneously last friday without reserving a table. The place was packed, but the staff kindly let us sit at a reserved table until there was an available table for us. They had three main vegan dishes, as well as some vegan a la carte dishes. It was very cheap for being Stockholm, 98 SEK ($10) for a main course and an extra 8 SEK ($1) for mixing two dishes. Bread, coffee and tea was included as well as another serving! The food in general is good, put for the price it's absolutely a place to recommend! Be sure to reserve a table if you're coming at a peak hour.

Sloppy dishes but cheap - Edit
It's a classic vegetarian restaurant in Stockholm, but apart from decent prices and still very tasty dark bread it has not impressed me during the last year. The food is simply too sloppy and too much of canteen style. The fat, pink (!) and tasteless sauce that came with my latest dish here must have been prefabricated.

Came here for lunch - most of the food is vegan. We tried the vegan soya meatballs... when in Sweden! The place was really busy every time we walked past so it's obviously a popular place. You can help yourself to salad and bread too. Reasonable prices.

Definitely go here - Edit
Absolutely wonderful food, huge portions, loads of vegan meal and dessert options, great atmosphere, and good for big groups. I went with a bunch of people from the university and they were totally sold on it even though they weren’t even vegetarian. They seemed to like the beer as well. I had the trio tofu main dish and the tofu was well grilled and seasoned and there was a wide selection of interesting things in the salad including kalamata olives and big baked potato wedges. The coconut cake was amazing as well!

When you're tired of the city's Indians or "the vegetarian alternative", this is one of surprisingly few places to go to. It's cheap, and you basically get what you're paying for. But it's tasty, and the vibe is good.

Among the bests of Stockholm - Edit
This restaurant offers a buffet and some dishes 'à la carte'. We tried the vegan burger and the vegan skewers (tofu and seitan). Both of them were very good, especially the seitan which is fantastic even if there are only 3 small skewers in the dish. The rest is salad or potatoes, which is a pity. Otherwise, the place is very pleasant, you can take a free salad and hummus at the entrance and they have good vegan cakes. Good vibes, friendly staff and reasonable prices. It is a must go in Stockholm.

It's a great place!
Read moreThe buffé menu goes for 90 sek or 100 sek if you want to mix several types of dishes + free refill.
Also includes a sallad buffé, bread, tea & coffee, water (which is always free in any Swedish restaurant)
The A - la - carte menu is more pricy but still cheap - goes for 145ish.
Id'd guess the place is maybe 70% vegan
Pros: tasty food, cozy place, good value
Cons: boring menu - it's never updated , can get crowded - though you can prebook, not organic food

Always busy, always delicious. Reserve a table! - Edit
Stayed in Stockholm very close by, so had the pleasure of going a couple of times. Rotating vegan dishes available with good portion sizes and served with really delicious brown bread and fruit-laden water. Had a nice array of sweets for dessert or fika as well. Extremely busy, but you can reserve a table in advance online (a must for most hours of the day).
