Great Veg Options - Edit
I’ve tried the cauliflower wings with ranch and the veg burger here, both were great. Best vegan cauliflower wings I’ve ever had! Plus they actually have vegan ranch!

Several vegan options in an unexpected place - Edit
I ordered the vegan yellow curry. It comes with your choice of tofu or beyond meat. Then you have a choice of rice, veggies, or chips (french fries) and can do 50/50 of two if you'd like. Also got the buffalo cauliflower wings and they were the best I've ever had! Cauliflower was battered and cooked crisp, just right. The buffalo sauce and vegan ranch came on the side, allowing me to dip the cauliflower in each, to get the amount of heat I wanted. It's a great spot for when you're with omnivores.

Buffalo cauliflower is best in the world - Edit
I have had a lot of different buffalo cauliflower plates all around the US and it doesn’t get any better than these. Even my non vegan friends love them. The ranch is vegan, too.

We used to go here quite a bit and LOVED all the vegan options once available, unfortunately this is no longer the case. I think the last time we went there were only 2 options on the entire menu and one was an appetizer - which is awesome BTW. I was surprised they took away their daily vegan specials, given the owner is vegan. He also owns or is a partner (not sure) of The Bellows in San Marcos, which is more veg friendly than Churchill's.

Went here for lunch after finding on Happy Cow. On that particular Saturday, they were making changes to the menu and only had two vegan offerings. I went with the buffalo cauliflower (this is an appetizer portion and fortunately, I was not super hungry) and it was excellent. I've made this at home and this was better than mine. The hot sauce was tangy and the vegan ranch was tasty too. Some celery sticks would have been a welcome addition. The server was very friendly and told me the owner is vegan. He forgot to bring my beer so I got it for free. They were having a vegan brunch the next day which I was sad to miss. I recommend calling to see what vegan offerings they have that day. The menu on their website looks to not have been updated for a while.

hearty vegan pub food - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised by the number and quality of their vegan options. They have two regular vegan menu items: Reuben and shepherds pie. They also have vegan daily specials and the day we went they were "chicken" pot pie and eggplant "Parmesan" sub. We ordered the specials and they were both yummy. The only downside was we accidentally went on Wednesday night which is wing night - as in chicken. So it was extra crowded and it was a bit unpleasant watching everyone around us eat. However I appreciated that even on that night they had great vegan specials.
