really good, amazing options with Native ingredients - Edit
We loved this place. We came for lunch one day and really hoped to get back for dinner one evening but didn’t make it. Vegan is marked on the menu but it’s an Omni spot. We loved that they focus on Indigenous ingredients and dishes, showcasing corn, potatoes, sal de maras, and others. The server/manager? was also intentional about making sure our food was vegan. We ordered the squash / pumpkin stew and when it came out he came over and told us that the grains were cooked in butter, took it away before I could have any, and came back with a new dish that was butter free. So if you order that dish make sure you double check bc our original server missed that when he placed the order. We were also told that the tortillas that come with the potato soup have egg in them, just a heads up, so we didn’t get those either. So even tho the menu is marked for vegan, definitely make sure you specify. All in all a really lovely restaurant on the plaza.

Fantastic oasis on busy main plaza in Ollantaytambo - Edit
I loved the vibe of this place and the meal I had was terrific. I had the Locro de Zapallo (kind-of a pumpkin stew with fava beans and corn). Extra credit to this place for their low-waste sustainability efforts — no plastic, cloth napkins, cloth towels in restroom. Be sure to sample some of the local liquors downstairs!
